Instructions

Project proposal template is a document designed to present a plan of action, outline the reasons why the action is necessary, and convince the reader to agree with and approve the implementation of the actions recommended in the body of the document. In proposing your project, your overall goal should be to provide a persuasive argument for the projects implementation. Convey the merits of your project from the perspective of your unit and its place within the organization. Please provide enough detail to allow someone with limited or general knowledge of your units operations to understand the proposal. Feel free to attach any supporting documentation or other additional information. The information you provide will help improve the quality of the decisionmaking process. Once submitted, your project proposal will be analyzed and considered amongst other proposals throughout the CS-department in a process designed to successfully prioritize, schedule, and coordinate projects amidst all other activities of the organization. The goal will be to produce the greatest overall benefit to the organization with consideration of its limited resources. (Note: Your Project Proposal should not exceed 6 pages. Project Proposal Executive Summary
This project is a web based application for an online electronics shopping store. This proposal defines the basic goals and requirements of the project under consideration. All the major facts of the costs, risks and expected result is briefly explained. All the opportunities and goals that an organization require for the beneficial of their business are defined in it. A schedule is included in this proposal which explained all the tasks with expected days of the completion of this project and the life time of the project as well. Although online shopping systems exists in the market, and these systems have features like search items, advance search, order placement, payment through credit card. In our system all these features are included and we will include some advance features in our project like all kinds of acknowledgements (order check out acknowledge, order shipping acknowledge, order delivery acknowledge through SMS and E-mail etc.). A customer who have bought the items at least for the one time will be notify about any new promotion and new arrivals through SMS and E-mail.

Statement of Need
This project is going to be developed for any business organization that deals with the electronics equipments like LCD, Laptops, Desktop computers and cell phone etc. This is based on an online shopping that will facilitate the customers to buy items in a quickest way.

Project Goals
The world have become a globle village and everyone is moving towards e-shopping. The key goals of this projects are as follows: To boost the business globally To facilitate the online customers

Expected Results
The organization will be able to put their items for sale over the internet. This will make possible the customers to shop items and pay bills online by sitting at their premises. This will save time and money of both the customer and the organization.

Requirements
In time delivery of the project is possible if the resources(software and hardware) and the budget(or exceeding of project cast ) is available in time and the tasks that are given to the development team is delivered in time. The delay in third party agreements like shipment company and bank can be effect the in time delivery of the project. Due to competitive environment the project can only be successful if it follows standards required for an e-business(due to un secured payment the customers do not rely on online shopping ) .

The developing period of this project is about six months and the useful life of the project is as long as the requirements of the organization is changed.

That is why it is crucial to choose the e-commerce platform that is flexible, easy to use and fast to improve. The potential benefits of the project is to enhance the business country wide and expected benefits are to enhance the business across the country and ultimately increase in the income of the organization by saving costs for human resources.

Alternative Impact
We are sure that this project will be pursued. In case if this project is not pursued then the business will not be enhanced country wide and ultimately will not be boost. This project should be pursued at every cost. The key point is that this project is for an online shopping.

This project fulfill potential opportunities to benefit the functional areas within the organization. The main objective of the organization is to enhance the business, compete the other organization with in the domain by providing more secured and reliable services and this project will fulfill the expectations and objectives of the organization by adopting the modern technology of modern era.

The proposed criteria of the evaluating the success of this project is that the user can shop and pay securely. The administrator is also able to see and manage all the shopping details, payments made by the customers, items shipped and to be shipped, and stock details etc. If the project is able to complete all the above mentioned tasks successfully then the project will be successful and the as an outcome the business will be enhanced and cost effective.
