Date orange shortbread bars

Ingredients:
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. NESTL MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk - 100gm Maida - cup (75g) Powdered sugar - 3 tbsp Butter - 50gm Egg - 1 Orange peel, grated - 1 tsp Vanilla essence - 1 tsp Dates, chopped - 2 cups Nuts, chopped - 1 cup

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180 C. In a bowl combine maida and sugar, cut in the butter and rub into the maida with the finger tips till it resembles bread crumbs.Press onto the bottom of an 8x8 inch-baking pan, place in the hot oven and bake for 10 15 minutes. 2. Meanwhile in a bowl lightly beat the egg, stir in the MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk, orange peel and vanilla essence. Add the chopped dates and nuts. 3. Spread this mixture over the baked crust and bake for another 20 minutes or until top is golden brown. Cool and cut into bars.

Ingredients :
1. MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk- 1 tin (400g) 2. Milk chocolate, chopped- 50g 3. Butter- 1 tbsp 4. Cocoa powder- 4 tbsp (20g) 5. Walnuts, coarsely chopped- cup, (50g)

Method :
1. Melt chocolate and butter in a pan over low heat, add the cocoa powder and mix well. 2. Mix in the MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk gradually and stirring constantly. 3. Cook over low heat till thick, add the walnuts and mix well. Cool and store in a bottle.

Ingredients:
1. MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk - 1 tin (400g) 2. Butter - 50 g 3. Apples - 1 kg For Crumble: 1. Butter - 75 g 2. Maida - 150 g 3. Cinnamon powder - 1 tsp

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180 C. Mix together MILKMAID and butter and heat for 4 to 5 minutes. Keep aside to cool. 2. Peel and slice apples. In a greased ovenproof dish, place the apple slices in layers. Press lightly while putting the apple slices. Pour the cooled MILKMAID mixture over it and spread evenly. 3. Mix the maida, butter and cinnamon powder to a crumbly texture. Top the apples with the crumble. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes or till done.

Eggless Date Cake

Ingredients:
1. NESTL MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk - tin(200g) 2. NESTL Milk - cup (75 ml) 3. NESTL Fresh n Natural Dahi - pack (100g) 4. Dates, chopped - 10-12 (100g) 5. Oil - cup (75ml) 6. Maida - 1 cup (80g) 7. Baking Soda - 1 tsp 8. Walnuts, chopped - 2 tbsp,(25g)

Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 180C, grease a 4x6 inch cake tin and dust with flour and keep aside. Boil the NESTL Milk in a sauce pan, remove from heat and add the dates and cool. 2. Puree the dates in a blender, add the oil into the blender and process again until all the oil is incorporated and mixture becomes thick. Add the MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk and NESTL Dahi and blend well. Transfer the mixture into a bowl. 3. Sieve maida and baking soda well, fold the maida into the date mixture and sprinkle the chopped walnuts and mix well. Pour into the prepared cake tin and bake in preheated oven for 25 30 minutes or till toothpick inserted will come out clean. Cool for 5 minutes, remove the cake onto a serving dish. Slice and serve.

Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients :
1. MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk - 1 tin (400g) 2. Powdered sugar - cup (60g) 3. Cocoa powder - cup (40g) 4. Walnuts, coarsely chopped - 1 cup, (100g) 5. Butter - 100g 6. Maida - 2 tbsp

Method :
1. Mix all the ingredients, except walnuts, in a karahi and heat. 2. Cook on slow fire till mixture thickens. and starts moving in a mass (soft ball stage). Stir in the walnuts. 3. Pour onto a greased plate/tray and smoothen the surface. Cool and cut into 2 squares.

For Chocolate Icing: 1. MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk - tin(100g) 2. Butter - 50 g 3. Cocoa - 4 tbsp Method: 1. Grease and dust an 8 baking tin and preheat oven to 180oC. Sieve together maida, cocoa & baking soda. 2. Beat butter and NESTLE Dahi until light and creamy. Fold in the sieved ingredients, alternating with NESTL Milk and MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk. Fold in the chopped walnuts & pour into greased tin. 3. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes till tooth pick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Allow to cool in tin for 5 minutes and remove onto a wire rack. For Chocolate Icing : 1. Mix together butter, cocoa and milkmaid and beat well. Microwave for 20 seconds. Mix thoroughly. 2. Spread over cake & leave to set. Slice &serve.
