LOW VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL SWITCHBOARD TESTING PROCEDURES

1. Visual checking : ~ Color check ~ Name plate check 2. Structure checking : ~ Box dimension check ~ Door check ( including locking device ) ~ Main component placement check ~ Live parts cover check 3. Wiring checking : ~ Busbar check ~ Power cable connection check ~ Control cable connection check ~ Control cable marker check 4. Insulation resistance measurement : ~ Insulation resistance measurement between Phase to Phase ~ Insulation resistance measurement between Phase to Neutral ~ Insulation resistance measurement between Phase to Ground ~ Insulation resistance measurement between Neutral to Ground Insulation resistance test as above will be done twice : A. Insulation resistance test before Voltage Withstand Test B. Insulation resistance test after Voltage Withstand Test 5. Voltage Withstand Test : Electrical switchboard will be tested with 2500Volt 50Hz for 60 seconds, if there is no flash over, then the switchboard passed the test. 6. System simulation : The switchboard will be given source 3PH 4W 380V 50Hz and operation simulation.
