About the College: CMR Institute of Management studies (CMRIMS) Autonomous, promoted by CMR Jnanadhara Trust was established in July 1996 for promoting academic and professional excellence in various fields of education. CMRIMS is affiliated to Bangalore University; Approved by AICTE, New Delhi, Recognized by the UGC, Government of India, and Government of Karnataka, Reaccredited by NAAC with A grade and conferred with Autonomous status by UGC. The college has diversified itself into various branches of academics like Biosciences, Information Technology, Management, Commerce, Psychology, Social Work, Humanities, Mass Communication and Electronic Media. This gives CMRIMS a holistic perception of education. About Biofutura: Bioscience, an interdisciplinary Department of CMRIMS seeks to sustain & enhance its excellence as an outstanding department in teaching, training, research and extension. The Department conducts Biofutura an annual event of intellectual congregation. It addresses the burning issues of the society and also throws light on the current aspects of science. Biofutura provides a platform for researchers from diverse backgrounds of Life Science to come together and publish their ideas and research. Call for Poster Abstracts: The abstracts should not exceed 600 words and should reflect the theme of the respective session. The authors should declare that the poster presentation made at the conference has not been presented elsewhere. The soft copy of the abstracts may be mailed to biofutura2013@gmail.com on or before 20-02-2013. Best three overall posters will be awarded cash prize.
