DR. ENG. KHALID MOHAMED HAFEZ INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE: Conducting industrial projects concerned with welding quality improvement, repair welding, third party inspection, failure analysis and trouble shooting for different industrial sectors.
Working as their party inspector cover the following items:1. Verifying of the material certificate and inspect the coming materials to insure the requirement in the purchase order. 2. Verifying of weld joints design before welding and check the WPS, PQR and welder certificate, and check it within codes and specifications. 3. Preparing of quality and inspection plane during and after manufacturing. 4. Check of welding quality during different manufacturing stages. 5. Evaluation of the radiographs films of the welding lines.

__________________________________________________________ RESEARCH EXPERIENCE: 1991, undergraduate research project, Study the effect of underwater depth on the microstructure and chemical composition on weld metal in underwater welding. 1993-1997, Master Research Work Study the effect of constituents of welding electrode covering on weld performance. In this research project, the coating flux of basic low hydrogen electrode E7018 was investigated in order to attain the optimum performance. 1998-1999 Working in the research team as consultancy group for solving any industrial problems related to welding and/or material science. 2000-2001 Join to the Prof. Naka Lab., Joining &Welding research Institute, Osaka Uni., Japan, Working in the research team as research student. The research was about ceramic/metal joining. 2001-2004, Ph. D research project.
