1. Collect data about launch of five new products in the Indian market in the recent past. Analyse their competitors and prepare a face book with key additional features that these new products offered to consumers.

3. Design a test marketing plan for the launch of the following products : a. Hydrogen car b. Transparent toothpaste c.Fire cake in place of gas cylinder

d.space simulator for children.

4. Great products often fail because of poor advertising . Give examples of five such cases and conduct a consumer panel discussion on why the advertising failed in the market and how it contributed to product failure.

5. Study and project report on top ten brands popular among school going children in the age group of 10-13 , studying in public schools and living in an urban area.

6. Conduct a market survey of fifty housewives to map the identity, position and image of following brands. a. Vim bar, b) Sundrop oil c) Kiwi shoe polish d) Whirlpool washing machine.

7. Find out the brand image of the following brands among Indian youth: a) Sony Television b) Infosys c) LG electronics d) Go Air Airlines .

13.How do the retailer decide mark ups ? How do they decide markups for food commodities? what factors contribute to the launching of their private labels ? Find answers to the above questions through a retailer survey.

14. Contact ten sales people of Euro-Clean from Eureka Forbes and find out how they handle price related customer complaints.

15. Identify prices of airline tickets decided. What are the factors that are considered important in deciding airline price ?

18. Conduct a small survey among your friends and family . How many of them have been targeted by companies selling over the telephone, by companies sending unsolicited catalogues.
