TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CENTURIO L7-1M-S 1250

The Centurio L7-1M-S 1500 is a fully automated sheet metal slitting and cutting line suitable for length and diagonal cutting of sheet metals from coils for program controlled sequenced cutting orders. The line is equipped with an automated coil handling and coil warehousing system suitable for 7 coil-storage places in its standard configuration. The number of coil-storage places is freely selectable and can be expanded in accordance with the Buyers requirement (if more than 25 coil-storage places required we recommend to use a second coil-storage-shuttle manipulator in order to fulfil the cutting orders in time). The transportation of the specific coil needed to the cutting unit, the sheet metal clamping procedure at the entrance of the cutting unit, the sheet metal straightening function, the coil-weight recognition of every coil, the slitting knife adjustment as well as the slitting and cutting process is carried out fully automated. The line is surrounded by a protective steel mesh guard in the area of the fully automated coil-warehouse. Service doors are equipped with safety sensors.

The coil warehouse consists of the trackage-frame for the coil-manipulator, the casted coil-storage stands with base-frames for every coil and the coil axle including the clamping bars. For inserting new coils or replacements of coils the Buyer shall select a specific coil bring-in place which shall be identified in the project drawing. The coil bring-in place is freely selectable by the Buyer and is depending on the space and working situation of the Buyers building.

Before inserting the coils into the warehouse every coil shall be fitted with the delivered expandable coil axle and our patented sheet clamping bar. The clamping bars are necessary to keep the coil together during the transportation by the manipulator. The necessary tools to tighten the expandable coil shaft and to position the coil on the shaft are included. The coils shall be lifted together with coil axle and the coil clamping unit into the foreseen coil bring-in place (5 ton lifting device optional). The coils can be uncoiled with our bottom-up method selectively with the inner surface up or with the inner surface down. 1M 1 Set Coil-manipulator:
Automatic controlled coil-manipulator suitable as feeding device for the cutting unit. The coil transport from the coil-storage places to the cutting device is done by the coil manipulator. The coil manipulator provides an efficient solution for the automatic changeover of materials for different cutting orders. The manipulator is equipped with coil-lifting, coil-pick-up, coil-drive and brake functions as well as with an automatic coil weight detection system. The driven coil axle is synchronised with the drive of the cutting unit. Alarm function in case of empty coils. Maximum coil width: Maximum coil weight: 1500 mm 5.000 kg

1 Set Centurio Slitting and cutting machine:

Automatic controlled cutting unit including automatic straightening function suitable for length and diagonal cutting of sheet metals from coils. The continuous length cutting is being done by five pairs of slitting rolls (optional up to 8 pairs of slitting rolls) and the diagonal cutting with one guillotine shear. The position adjustment of the cutting rolls and the cutting clearance (material dependant) is done fully automatically.

Electric process control system for the complete above line. The switchboards with all electrical control components are integrated in the main frame of the cutting unit. The complete line is PLC controlled and all relevant operation datas for different cutting orders can be entered via a touch screen user interface. The touch screen is integrated in the cover plate of the cutting unit. Drives on the machine are AC drives frequency controlled and servo drives. Communication via a bus system. The machine is equipped with an online service system. The Buyer shall The language of the user interface is switchable between German/English/Dutch/Czech (other languages optional). Other switches or warning and information signs on the machine in English language.
