SFC ICON 2013 THIS IS IT! PROMO REGISTRATION GUIDELINES


It is with great joy and excitement that we announce that our 20 th SFC ICON is now officially the BIGGEST ICON ever! Over 6,500 strong and faithful SFCs will come to Manila to be part of another milestone of the ministry. We dont want anybody to be left behind and we want as much people to witness and experience the Lords greatness. On January 30, 2013 (Wednesday), we will once again open the online registration from 12:01AM to 11:59PM (Philippine time) to accommodate those who were not able to register yet. This is your final chance to be part of SFCs history so please go through the guidelines below and make sure that you have read and understood them. Registration fee is still Php1,300 so grab this opportunity now! 1. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE a. Log on to www.cfchomeoffice.com using your SFC Member ID and click on Events Registration. Select SFC INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE (ICON) 2013 and click REGISTER. b. You may refer to the FIRST MEMO (released last October 2012 and is available online at http://www.scribd.com/doc/107503176/SFC-ICON-2013-First-Memo) for the detailed registration process. 2. PAYMENT OPTIONS We will strictly enforce a REGISTER TODAY, PAY TODAY policy. This means that payments should be done within the day as well. There are three modes of payment to choose from. For METRO MANILA: Cash, Credit Card, Bank For PHILIPPINE MISSIONS: Credit Card & Bank only a. CASH. Go to the CFC Global Mission Center (#156 20th Ave., Cubao, Quezon City) on January 30 (9am-4pm only) and pay your registration fee/s. Make sure you already have your TRANSACTION ID. Finance will confirm your transaction once payment is completed. b. CREDIT CARD. Automatic confirmation if transaction is successfully completed. c. BANK DEPOSIT. Deposit your payment before the bank closes in the afternoon. Here are the official bank accounts of CFC where you can deposit your payments: Account Name: Couples for Christ Global Mission Foundation, Inc. BPI SA: 3103-3205-76 BDO SA: 6810020704 PNB SA: 369-993-800-022 CHINABANK: 129-090-271-3 Return to your transaction and add payment details. For deposits made in banks other than BPI, you still need to choose BPI in the Bank field but make sure that you put a note indicating the bank where you deposited. Once payment is completed and verified, you will then receive a confirmation email. All unpaid (for Cash no official receipt, for Bank no payment details) transactions will be canceled on January 31, 12:01AM so again, ensure that your payment details are properly encoded before 11:59PM of January 30.

SECRETARIAT: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


1. Can we still register? Will there be extended/walk-in registration? A: We will once again open the online registration on January 30 (see guidelines above). 2. There is no BPI near our area. Where else can we deposit? A: Here are the official bank accounts of CFC: Account Name: Couples for Christ Global Mission Foundation, Inc. a. BPI SA: 3103-3205-76 b. BDO SA: 6810020704 c. PNB SA: 369993-800-022 d. CHINABANK: 129-090-271-3 Make sure that you return to your transaction and add payment details. For deposits made in banks other than BPI, you still need to choose BPI in the Bank field but make sure that you put a note indicating the bank where you deposited. 3. I availed the promo rate (P1,200 with free shirt during the MMC, RECONs, MMLA, MC). How can I register for the sub-event (Pre-ICON, CCC, GLS)? A: You may deposit your payment and send the deposit slip, list of registrants, and area to aizagarnica@sfcglobal.org on or before January 30. Secretariat will register on your behalf. 4. My transaction is still PENDING, how can I register for the sub-event (Pre-ICON, CCC, GLS)? A: You may deposit your payment already. Just keep your deposit slips and register for the subevent once your ICON registration is already confirmed. Deadline of registration for subevents is extended until January 30 (to accommodate those with pending transactions). Better yet, as you register for the ICON, register for the sub-events too. I.

LIST OF CONFIRMED DELEGATES We will release the list of confirmed delegates as soon as all transactions are confirmed. Those whose transactions are still pending, we request that you send via email (mail to: aizagarnica@sfcglobal.org) a copy of your deposit slips along with the transaction ID/s to hasten the process of confirmation.

II. KIT DISTRIBUTION

Conference kits can be claimed at the Secretariat Area on Friday, February 15, from 9am-4pm only. Kits will be distributed per chapter through the delegation head. The delegation head should present his/her SFC ID and a copy of the confirmation email/s with the list of delegates from their chapter.
III. ID

All delegates are required to wear their SFC ID. Those without RFIDs yet may still use their old IDs or may order online at www.cfchomeoffice.com.
IV. FOOD DISTRIBUTION

1. A NO STUB, NO FOOD policy will be implemented for this conference. 2. ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORTATION GUIDELINES


SCHOOL ACCOMMODATION GUIDELINES
The SFC ICON 2013 Accommodations committee is offering assistance to our delegates who are looking for possible accommodations for the upcoming SFC ICON. We will be opening the Andres Bonifacio Elementary School, Barangay 23, San Jose, Leveriza, Pasay City for the duration of February 15, 2013 (after lunch) until February 17, 2013 (until 7pm). An accommodation fee of Php 200.00 will be collected per head for the whole duration of their stay. Please follow the easy steps below: 1. Book online through www.cfchomeoffice.com. 2. If you have already registered for the SFC ICON, you may go back to your transaction history and click the register sub-event SCHOOL ACCOMMODATION. Note that our School Accommodations can only accommodate up to 200 persons. Therefore, bookings will be on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE ONLY basis only. 3. You can pay through your selected payment option selected (either BANK, CASH or CREDIT CARD) using the same procedure as registering for the ICON. 4. The system will email you and the delegation head the confirmation as a proof of booking. 5. Proceed to the SFC ICON Accommodations booth at the World Trade Center on February 15, 2013 for your key/s and other instructions. 6. IMPORTANT: Please bring your own Sleeping Bag / Mattress and Insect repellant. 7. Deadline is on February 1, 2013. GENERAL SERVICES REMINDERS


WASTE MANAGEMENT 1. All delegates should be responsible in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the conference venue. Thus, we appeal for everyone to observe waste segregation. Trash bags will be provided around the venue so please dispose your garbage properly. 2. In SFC, Walang PLASTIKan! We discourage everyone from using plastics in support of our One Earth Advocacy and in compliance with the ENRO policy.

SECURITY 1. Part of the kit is the daily pop tag which the delegates should wear upon entering and while inside the conference venue. All SFC delegates must also wear their respective IDs (or RFIDs) throughout the conference. 2. Only those wearing the pop tag for the day will be allowed to enter the conference venue. 3. Be responsible and accountable for personal belongings especially the important ones. 4. Just like in the past conferences, the following rules still apply within the conference venue for the duration of the event: a. NO SMOKING. b. NO DRINKING OF ANY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE. c. NO BRINGING OF ANY DEADLY WEAPON. 5. Hired security personnel will roam around the area to ensure strict compliance with the conferences general security guidelines.

MEDICAL MISSION 1. There will be available doctors and nurses during the conference to attend to medical needs of the delegates. Medicines for emergency cases (e.g., injuries, wounds, dizziness, etc.) are also readily available. 2. Those with special health conditions (e.g. asthma, diabetes, hypertension, vertigo), are advised to bring their own medicine.

PRE-ICON ACTIVITIES
Online registration for the PRE-ICON is extended until January 30 to accommodate those whose transactions are still pending. Registration fee is Php400 for all PRE-ICON activities. There are four PRE-ICON activities to choose from. You have the option to attend just one or attend all. But since the rate is already inclusive of the fees for all activities, we encourage you to be present at all four activities.

The venue of our Couple Coordinators Conference is at 10th floor, School of Design and Arts, De La Salle, College of St. Benilde.

We will be accepting WALK-IN REGISTRATNS for the Couple Coordinators Conference. Registration fee is still Php600 per couple / Php300 per head exclusive of food. Kits will only be given until supplies last. Please understand that the kits and food are being ordered before the event, thus only those who registered online are counted.

WORKSHOP DETAILS
For our 20th Conference, we will have two workshops which can be attended by all the delegates, thus no separate registration is required. Workshops will be on Saturday, February 16, at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium. The first workshop will be from 8:00AM 12:00NN while the second workshop is from 1:00PM-4:00PM. All delegates are requested to attend both workshops. Saturday breakfast and lunch will be distributed at the workshop venue. Transportation will be available for the delegates to travel to World Trade Center after the workshops.
