FILLING OUT THE PLEDGE

Weve been encouraging students to consider invesEng a summer or a year to serve the Lord. And with much prayer and some nudging were beginning to see the fruit of our eorts. It looks were going to have at least 3 new interns for next year at UNCW, 5 students and sta going over seas for a year to 3 conEnents, and were yet to nd out how many students will invest their summers. We know of at least 7 or 8 who are in the process of lling out applicaEons so far!

MENS SUMMIT
We have asked you to pray for men on our campus to step up and be men of character, integrity, and leadership. Last Friday we had a round table discussion with 22 of the men on campus. We challenged them to walk with Jesus and to build a gospel community of men who are being intenEonal with lost men around them. We were blown away by the response!

CHINESE BIBLE STUDY

In August Irene (a Chinese exchange student) came to know Jesus through the ministry of Dr. Lee Whitehurst (a friend of ours). He connected her with Cru and we are helping her launch a Bible study for the Chinese students on campus. We believe that there is nobody beeer equipped to share the gospel with her fellow students! We are so excited about the potenEal of this ministry! Irene is aeending the Chinese church in town. They have been praying for God to raise up a student leader on campus! Stay tuned for an amazing story!
