How Building Resilience in South Louisiana Has Influenced Our Growth:


Provided over 100 inspectors for debris missions

following hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Participated in evaluations of damaged sewer systems

and roadways in New Orleans and St. Bernard.

Developed program management skills through

infrastructure recovery programs in New Orleans (Hurricane Katrina) and Cameron (Hurricane Rita).

Began coastal & environmental division in 2008. Awarded 3 prime federal multi-year contracts in

2009/2010 for planning, engineering, and construction.

Evolved into a full service well respected engineering

consulting firm with over 50 full time employees in less than 5 years.

USACE Verret to Caernarvon Protection Levee


Project Purpose: provide 100 year flood protection to New Orleans East Oversaw USACE clay certification process for borrow Coordinated site civil layout, clay transportation, and overall safety In charge of environmental compliance: Spill & storm water pollution prevention Wetland, endangered species, and cultural resources protection Air and water quality

Offshore Coastal Protection & Pipeline Repair


Problem: 4 exposed hurricane damaged oil & gas pipelines crossing beach Location: West of 81 Breakwater field constructed by LDNR Feasibility Investigation: Analyzed two possible solutions: 1. Trench and Breakwaters 2. Directional Bore Recommendation: <10 years Breakwaters >10 years Directional Bore (Selected Alternative) Job Creation: 60 people working on the job at peak of construction

Fort Hood Energy Reduction


Project Purpose: Assist Fort Hood in Complying with E.O. 13423 Requires Federal Agencies to reduce energy intensity by 3% per year, leading to 30% reduction by 2015 (from 2003 levels). GIS system integration Data collection & Management Establishment of energy use baseline
