- Passage comprehension Objectives: At the end of the lesson, students should be able to comprehend about recreation. Language: Vocabulary: using certain words about recreation

Skill: Speaking + Reading Knowledge: - Know more about leisure activities of British people. Approach and teaching aids: - Communicate approach. Blackboard, chalk, textbook, handout, pictures. Anticipated problems: Some students may not have enough vocabulary to understand about topic Solution: T should be ready to help them Procedure: 1.T greets Ss and checks the classs attendance. 2.T begins the new lesson with a short warm-up activity. Stages I.Warm up (6) Teachers activities. - Have Ss look at the picture about different activities on page 154 Ask Ss some questions: 1. What is each picture about? 2. Are they leisure activities? Expected answer: 1. Watch TV, karaoke, swimming, playing rugby. 2. Yes Answer Students activities.

Task 1: Multiple choice test - Have Ss read each sentence carefully and underline the italic word/phrases in the text to guess meaning more easily. - Elicit the meaning of some phrases/sentences from Ss - Ask Ss to read the passage and do the task individually - Ask Ss to work in pairs to compare their answers after they finish their work.
