Son of Man Shall Be Raised Up At the Last Day

John 5:22-38 Acts 24:13-23 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day. (Acts 23:6) Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. (Jon 1) The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed. Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover? And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? And he will shew you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us. (Acts 1:13) Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him. But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

Son of Man Shall Be Raised Up At the Last Day

Mark 16:12 Luke 24:34-36 John 20:19-25 After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country. (Lk 24:10-36) Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. (Luke 24:33-48) After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. (Acts 9:1-16) And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day (Gen 21:1-4) Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. (John 15:13) These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. (Luke 24:44-53)
