Evening
Dhikr & Azkar
And glorify the name of your Lord morning and evening (Al-Qur'an 76 : 025) In order that ye (O men) may believe in Allah and His Messenger, that ye may assist and honor Him, and celebrate His praise morning and evening (Al-Qur'an 48 : 009)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious,the Most Merciful

2. Alhamdu lilla hi-rabbil Aalameen 3. Ar-rahma nir-raheem 4. Maa likiyaw mid-deen 5. Iyyaa ka-naAA budu wa-iyya ka-nasta een 6. Ihh-dinass siratal-mustaqeem 7. Sira tall lazee-na an-AAamta Aaalayhim, ghay-ril maghdoo bi-Aalayhim walald-daal-leen
2. All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists) 3. The Most Beneficent, the Most Mercifull 4. The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) 5. You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything) 6. Guide us to the Straight Way 7. The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians) Sura Al-Fateha

1. Alif laam meem 2. Zaa-likal kitabula rayba feehi, hu-dalil muttaqeena 3. Allazeena yu'minoona bil-ghaybi wayu qee-moona-ssalata wamimma razaqna hum-unfiqoon 4. Wal-lazena yu'minoona bima onzila ilayka wama onzila min qablik, wabial-akhirati hum yu'qinoon 5. Ola-ika ala hudam mir-rabbi-him wa-ola-ika humul-muflihoon
1: Alif Lam Mim 2: This Book, there is no doubt in it, is a guide to those who guard (against evil) 3: Those who believe in the unseen and keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them 4: And who believe in that which has been revealed to you and that which was revealed before you and they are sure of the hereafter 5: These are on a right course from their Lord and these it is that shall be successful Sura Al-Bakarah V.1-5

Allahu laaa 'ilaaha 'illaa Huu. 'Al-Hayyul-Qayyuum. Laa ta'-khuzuhuu sinatunw-wa laa nawm. Lahuu maa fissamaawaati wa ma fil-'arz. Manzallazii yashfa-'u'indahuuu 'illaa bi-'iznih? Ya'-lamu maa bayna 'aydiihim wa maa khalfahum. Wa laa yuhiituuna bi-shay-'im-min 'ilmihiii 'illaa bimaa shaaa'. Wasi-'a Kursiyyu-hus-Samaawaati wal-'arz; wa laa ya'uuduhuu hifzu -humaa wa Huwal-'Aliyyul-'Aziim
(255) Allah is He besides Whom there is no god, the Everliving, the Selfsubsisting by Whom all subsist; slumber does not overtake Him nor sleep; whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His; who is he that can intercede with Him but by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they cannot comprehend anything out of His knowledge except what He pleases, His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of them both tires Him not, and He is the Most High, the Great Sura Al-Bakarah V.255

La ikraha feed-deen, Qaath-ta-bayyanar-rush-du minal-ghayy, Fa-mi- yakfur bit-taghooti wa-yuk-mimm biAllahi faqa-diss tamsaka bil-urr-watil-wuss-qa laang-infisama laha ,Walla-hu samee-un alim (256) There is no compulsion in religion; truly the right way has become clearly distinct from error; therefore, whoever disbelieves in the Shaitan and believes in Allah he indeed has laid hold on the firmest handle, which shall not break off, and Allah is Hearing, Knowing

Allahu waliyul-lazena amanoo yukh-rijuhum minaz-zu-lumati ilan-noor ,waalazee naka faroo awliya-oo-humutta-ghootu yukhrijoo-nahum minan-noori ilaz-zoolumat, Ou'la-ika as-habun nar ,Hum fee-ha khalidoon (257) Allah is the guardian of those who believe. He brings them out of the darkness into the light; and (as to) those who disbelieve, their guardians are Shaitans who take them out of the light into the darkness; they are the inmates of the fire, in it they shall abide

Lillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee al-ard, Wa-in tubdoo ma fee ang'fusikum aw tukhfoohu yuhasibkum bihi Allah, Fayagh firu'li mai-ya-shaoo wa-yu'az-zubu mai-ya-sha wallahu ala kulli shay-in qadeer (284) Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah's; and whether you manifest what is in your minds or hide it, Allah will call you to account according to it; then He will forgive whom He pleases and chastise whom He pleases, and Allah has power over all things

Amana alrrasoolu bima onzila ilayhi min rabbihi waalmu/minoona, Kullun amana biAllahi wamala-ikatihi wakutubihi warusulihi, la nufarriqu bayna ahadin min rusulih, Waqaloo sami'na waata'na, Ghufranaka rabbana wa-ilayka almaseeru (285) The apostle believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers; they all believe in Allah and His angels and His books and His apostles; We make no difference between any of His apostles; and they say: We hear and obey, our Lord! Thy forgiveness (do we crave), and to Thee is the eventual course

La yukal-liful-lahu nafsan illa wus-aha,Laha ma kasabat wa-alayha maAktasabat,Rabbana la tu-akhithna inna-eena aw akhta'na,Rabbana wala tahmil alina isran kama hamaltahu alal'lazina min'qablina,Rabbana wala tuhm-milna ma la ta qatalana bihi,Wao'fu anna waighfir lana wairhamna,Aang'ta mawlana faonsurna alal-qawmil kafireen
(286) Allah does not impose upon any soul a duty but to the extent of its ability; for it is (the benefit of) what it has earned and upon it (the evil of) what it has wrought: Our Lord! do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake; Our Lord! do not lay on us a burden as Thou didst lay on those before us, Our Lord do not impose upon us that which we have not the strength to bear; and pardon us and grant us protection and have mercy on us, Thou art our Patron, so help us against the unbelieving people

1. Qulhu walla-hu ahad, 2. Alla huss-samad, 3. Lam yalid walam yoolad, 4. Walam ya kul-lahu kufu waan ahaad 1: Say: He, Allah, is One 2: Allah is He on Whom all depend 3: He begets not, nor is He begotten 4: And none is like Him

1. Qul aaoo' zubi-rabbil falaaq, 2. Min sharri ma khalaqa, 3. Wamin sharri ghasiqin eeza waqab 4. Wamin shar-rin naffa-saathi feel uoo-qaadh 5. Wamin sharri haa-sidin iza-hasadh
1: Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn 2: From the evil of what He has created 3: And from the evil of the utterly dark night when it comes 4: And from the evil of those who blow on knots 5: And from the evil of the envious when he envies

1. Qul a'oozu bi-rabbin naas 2. Malikin naas 3. Ilah hin-naas 4. Min sharril was-wasil hannas 5. Alla-zee yu-was-wisu fee sudoo rin-naas 6. Minal jinn-nati waalnnas
1: Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men 2: The King of men 3: The god of men 4: From the evil of the whisperings of the slinking (Shaitan) 5: Who whispers into the hearts of men 6: From among the jinn and the men

Amsaina wa-amsal mulku lillah walhamdu lillah, La ilaha illal-lah, wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahul-mulku walahul-hamd, Yohee wa yumeeto wahuwa ala kulli shayin qadeer, Rabbi as-aluka khayrama fee haza-hil-lailathi wa-khayra ma ,Ba'daha wa-aoozu-bika min sharri ha'zaal-yawmi, washarri ma, Ba'daha rabbi aa'ozu-bika minal-kasal, wasoo-il kibar, Rabbi aa'ozubika min aa'zaa-bin fin-nar, wa aa'zaa-bin fil-qabr We have reached the evening and at this very time unto Allah belongs all sovereignty, and all praise is for Allah. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent.My Lord, I ask You for the good of this night and the good of what follows it and I take refuge in You from the evil of this nignt and the evil of what follows it. My Lord, I take refuge in You from laziness and senility. My Lord, I take refuge in You from torment in the Fire and punishment in the grave.[Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasa'i, and Ahmad] Sahih Muslim - 4/2088

Aamsaina ala fitratil-islam, Wa'ala kalimatil-ikhlas, Wa'ala deeni nabiyyina Muhammad (Sallalla-hu alai hi wasallam), Wa'ala millati abeena Ibraheema haneefan musliman, Waama kana minal-mushrikeen We rise upon the fitrah of Islaam, and the word of pure faith, and upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad and the religion of our forefather Ibraheem, who was a Muslim and of true faith and was not of those who associate others with Allaah

Allahumma bika amsayna, wabika asbahna, Wabika nahya wabika namootu wa-ilaykal-maseer O Allah, by Your leave we have reached the evening and by Your leave we have reached the morning, by Your leave we live and die and unto You is our return

Allahumma inni aamsaitu minka ,Fi nimatin wa afiyatin wa sitr, fa atimma alayya ni'mataka ,Wa afiyataka wa sitraka fi al dunya wa al akhira O Allah, I rose up in the morning with blessings, strength and concealment (of my shortcomings), all of which are from You. So complete all the blessings and strength from You and the concealment for me in this life and the hereafter

Allahumma ma aamsa bee min nia'matin, Wa bi-ahadin min khalqik, Faminka wahdaka la shareeka lak, Falakal-hamdu walakash-shukr O Allah, what blessing I or any of Your creation have risen upon, is from You alone, without partner, so for You is all praise and unto You all thanks

Allahumma innee as-alukal aa'fitah fid-dunya wal-akhirah, Allahumma innee as-alukal-aa'fwa wal-aa'fiyah, Fee deenee wad-dunya-ya wa-ahlee wa-ma-lee, Allah hummas-tur aawratee wa-amin raw-aa'tee ,wah-fitnee min bay'ni yaday wamin khalfee, Wa'aan ya-mee-nee wa'aan shimalee wamin fawqee, Wa-aa'oozu bi-aatha-matika aan oogh-tala min tahtee
O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, and my family and my wealth. O Allah, veil my weaknesses and set at ease my dismay. O Allah, preserve me from the front and from behind and on my right and on my left and from above, and I take refuge with You lest I be swallowed up by the earth

Bismil-lahil-lazee la-ydur-ru ma'aas-mihi shay-on fil-ardi wala fissama-i wahuwas-sameeul-aa'leem In the name of Allah with whose name nothing is harmed on earth nor in the heavens and He is The All-Seeing, The AllKnowing.

Allahumma anta rabbee la ilaha illa ant, Khalaq-tanee wa-ana aabduk, Wa-ana ala aah-dika wa wa'dika mas-ta-taat, Aa'oozu'bika min sharri ma sanath, Aboo-o laka bini'matika aa'aly, wa-aboo-o bi-zan-bee, Faghfir lee fa-innahu la yagh-firuzunooba illa ant
O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am Your servant and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I have committed. I acknowledge Your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You. Al Bhukari 7/150

Allahumma innee aamsaitu oshhiduk, Wa-oshhidu hamalata aarshik, Wamala-ikatik, Wa-jamee'aa khalqik, ann-naka antallahu la ilaha illa ant, Wah'daka la shareeka lak, Wa-anna Muhammadan aabdu-ka wa-rasooluk O Allah, ily I have reached the morning and call on You, the bearers of Your throne, Your angles, and all of Your creation to witness that You are Allah, ne has the right to be worshipped except You, alone, without partner and that Muhammad is Your Servant and Messenger

Allahumma aa'fi-nee fee badanee, Allahumma a'fi-nee fee sam'ee, Allahumma aa'fi-nee fee basa'ree, la ilaha illa-ant, Allahumma innee aa'oozu-bika minal-kufr, wal-faqr, Wa-aa'oozu-bika min aazaabil-qabr, la ilaha illa-ant O Allah, grant my body health, O Allah, grant my hearing health, O Allah, grant my sight health. None has the right to be worshipped except You , O Allah, I take refuge with You from disbelief and poverty, & I take refuge with You from the punishment of the grave. None has the right to be worshipped except You

Hasbiyal-lahu la ilaha illa huwa, aa'layhi tawakkalt, wahuwa rabbul-aarshil-aazeem Allah is Sufficient for me, none has the right to be worshipped except Him, upon Him I rely and He is Lord of the exalted throne

La ilaha illa allahu wah dahu la shareeka lahu, Lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu, Wa huwa 'ala kullee shay'in qadeer None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things omnipotent.
