WATER / H2O FACTS & WATER PROBLEMS Benefits of PiMag and Optimized Water LIVING WATER Vitalized by magnetic

ic energy. (Breaks down the large clusters of molecules into smaller ones, makes water wetter) Filtration occurs through stainless steel screens, fine silk screens, 2 different carbon filters and coral sand chips which filter unhealthy substances down to the size of 0.1 micron. Removes bacteria, heavy metals and organic matters like chlorine. Ceramic balls ionize and add essential minerals and nutrients back into the water. Ceramic stones and clay reflect far-infra red energy back into the water. Creates alkaline water with a pH > 7 which carries more oxygen than acidic water. Improves taste and odour. Great for your body (through cooking, drinking and bathing), plants and animals. Cost effective. HEXAGONAL WATER - The best form of water for good health is hexagonal water. This is a structure of water that is comprised of 6 molecules that form a circle in structure. Research in Korea has shown that this is the type of water that exists in a healthy, living body. By creating hexagonal or pi-water we're drinking water that is more natural and easily used by the body. OXYGENATED WATER - Oxygenated water supplies plenty of oxygen directly and promptly to the body's cells. Studies have shown that oxygenated water enhances athletic performance, improves cardiovascular and muscle endurance and reduces recovery time after exercise. ALKALINE WATER - Alkaline (Ionized) water passes through body tissue more efficiently than conventional water; therefore it hydrates us much more effectively. Alkaline water combats the acid condition caused by our modern diet to help maintain a healthy, disease-fighting system. Cancer and degenerative conditions abhor an oxygenated and alkaline environment.
FACTS:

The bloods ideal pH Level 7.365 Water/food around this level of alkalinity nourishes, cleanses & energizes the body Water/food which is acidic intoxicates, clogs & deprives the body of energy The bloods pH Level cannot become and remain acidic or you die!

There is no more new water the second water comes back to earth through the hydrological cycle, it starts accumulating particles of almost everything it touches. 2.5 % of the Earths water is fresh, ONLY 0.6% of that is usable!! (most of it is frozen) The world is facing a critical shortage of fresh water 70% of the worlds water is used in agriculture and the remaining 30% is used in households and industry. With population growth, the amount used in agriculture alone is expected to increase by 17%.

The two main sources of drinking water in Canada are groundwater and surface water. Groundwater is recovered from underground aquifers at depths ranging from a few to hundreds of meters. Surface water is drawn from rivers and lakes. The World Health Organization estimates 1 billion people have unsafe drinking water and 2.1 million people die every year from unsafe water, 90% of these deaths are children. The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) has found more than 80 contaminants in our drinking water. Microscopic pathogens such as e-coli (Walkerton, Ontario), Cryptosporidium (North Battleford, Saskatchewan) and Giardia are making their way into our water systems. Water treatment plants add chlorine and fluoride, to our water supply to purify it. These substances are very unhealthy and have side effects, recent studies have linked them to major health issues such as cancer, osteoporosis and birth defects. Less than 1% of this treated water is actually consumed through drinking and cooking. Chlorine levels in Ontario tap water have skyrocketed in the last two years (since the Walkerton epidemic). While "safe" chlorine levels are reported to be 0.5 ppm (parts per million), current levels stand around 2.0-4.0 ppm. By comparison, safe levels for pools range between 1.5-2.0 ppm. Other toxic substances include trihalomethanes (THM), trichloroethylene TCE, PCB, MTBE, benzene, aluminum, arsenic, asbestos, chromium, copper, lead, mercury etc. Runoff from agricultural areas can add pesticides and fertilizers to the water aquifers as well as bacteria contamination from surface supplies. New studies are detecting a wide range of PPCPs (Pharmaceutical and Personal Care Products) in our water. Many pharmaceuticals are passing through the body unchanged and are then recycled through our water systems. Most cities rely on aging distribution systems to carry water to consumers. Older pipes often develop leaks that can lead to cross contamination with surface water and wastewater. Researchers estimate that 450 pounds of inorganic minerals and industrial pollutants are ingested by an individual through the drinking water he/she consumes in a lifetime. Caffeine from coffee, tea, soft drinks and alcohol amongst few others are diuretics, they dehydrate the body! Also these drinks are ACIDIC. It has been estimated that 75% of North Americans are chronically dehydrated and fail to drink the recommended daily amount of at least 8 cups. A 10 minute hot shower with chlorinated water is equivalent to drinking 8 glasses of the same water, absorption is one problem but our worst exposure is from the inhalation of the toxic chlorine gas containing Chloroform, THM and TCE.

OUR BODIES NEED FOR WATER

Our body is composed of 70% water and this total amount is replaced every 15 days! 75% of the weight of our upper body is supported by the water volume that is stored in the disc cores (especially the 5th lumbar disc)
Heart 75% water Liver 86% water Brain 75-85% water Lungs 86% water Muscles 75% water Bones 30% water Cartilage/Joints 50% water Blood 90% water and is replaced every 90 days

WHY DRINK C - Circulation A - Assimilation D - Digestion E Elimination T Temperature control

8+ GLASSES OF PURE, FRESH WATER DAILY?

Improves joint mobility Eliminates various physical discomforts Maintains proper muscle tone Improves skin tone, texture, and resilience Prevents and reverses premature aging Water is a natural diuretic Supresses appetite naturally Metabolizes stored fat; lose weight effortlessly, naturally, without strict dieting Maintains body weight Relieves constipation, and diarrhea Increases energy levels, less fatigue Water flows through our cell membranes generating hydroelectric energy (voltage) that is converted and stored in our cells as energy (ATP and GTP)

Water is the universal solvent, and the most important nutrient we consume daily Supplies the body's tissues with oxygen and nutrients Water is necessary for the chemical reactions in our body to occur through a process of hydrolysis Water holds our cell contents in their proper structural place, allowing for optimal functioning Rids the body of waste and flushes out toxins Water protects our body's cells from attacks from diseases, viruses, etc If cells become water starved they become shriveled up, parched and dry, making it easier for foreign invaders to enter the cells

HOW MUCH WATER DOES YOUR BODY REQUIRE?

A more recent measurement of the required daily intake of water is measured in ounces and can be calculated by taking half of your weight in lbs. Then add 1 cup for each hour of strenuous activity.

e.g. 128 lbs 2 = 64 oz = gallon = 8 cups.

From this we see that most adults should be drinking more than 8 cups a day. Fruits and vegetables are a very good source of water. Cantaloupe and melons contain more than 90 per cent water, as do leafy vegetables such as lettuce. Kiwis, another great source of water, contain essential electrolytes such as potassium and magnesium. At birth our body is 90 per cent water, decreasing to 75 per cent hydration by the age of three. As we grow older, water levels can dip as low as 65 per cent. All of our vital organs utilize water to function properly. Your body can use up to 3 litres a day. Between seven and 11 quarts of water are needed just for proper digestion. The body uses about a pint of water every day solely through exhalation. The skin is the largest organ of elimination and under dry conditions, the body loses up to a quart an hour through perspiration alone. For every quart of water passed through the kidneys, 1- ounces of waste are carried with it. STAGES OF DEHYDRATION If you drink water only when youre mouth is dry, you are already dehydrated! 1% thirst * 5% slight fever 8% no saliva production, glands stop working 10% inability to walk 12% FATAL

SOME OUTCOMES OF DEHYDRATION AND CHRONIC DEHYDRATION

PREMATURE AGING SLOWED URINE PRODUCTION DIZZINESS, FATIGUE; DRY OR SUNKEN EYES BRITTLE BONES, OSTEOPOROSIS JOINT & BACK PAIN EXCESS BODY WEIGHT; OBESITY ASTHMA, ALLERGIES, LUPUS DIABETES; CANCER INDIGESTION; HEARTBURN HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, CHOLESTEROL HYPERTENSION, ANGINA STRESS AND DEPRESSION RHEUMATOID ATHRITIS HANGOVERS, MIGRAINES MUSCULAR AND NERVE PAIN MUSCLE CRAMPING KIDNEY PROBLEMS

WATER OPTIONS
MUNICIPALY TREATED WATER Health Hazard. Chlorinated and Flouridated both are toxic chemicals.

Can be acidic.

WELL WATER No monitoring system, questionable. Can become contaminated overnight. BOILING WATER - Not effective - Inconvenient, energy/time consuming. No taste improvement.

Must boil for 20 minutes to kill harmful bacteria (cysts & viruses) in emergency situations. Does not reduce particulates (heavy metals, sediments, toxic chemicals) and organic compounds.

BOTTLED WATER Expensive, inconvenient and questionable and creates a landfill problem. Produced from spring, mineral, tap or distilled water. The quality is not regulated very well, very loose standards. May still contain bacteria, organics and inorganics. Plastic leaches into the water. Dasani & Aquafina are very acidic (deprived of natural minerals) while Evian and especially Montclair are excellent (but you'll pay for it!)

BRITA Creates very ACIDIC water. Activated Carbon

Good for chlorine reduction and some heavy metals. Requires regular filter replacements.

CERAMIC FILTERS Needs to be coupled with a carbon filter to be effective. Forced through small holes to trap large particulates. Good particle reduction. Reusable after cleaning. Reduces bacteria.

Requires cleaning and disinfection. Does not remove organics, inorganics or viruses.

DISTILLATION Slow, noisy energy/time consuming and creates a very ACIDIC water Water heated to steam and then condensed, leaving contaminants behind. Reduces chlorine, heavy metals, viruses & bacteria. Contaminants such as chloroform (carcinogen) which have a lower boiling point than water will remain in the end product. Can leach minerals from your body.

May increase concentration of small organics.

REVERSE OSMOSIS Wasteful (4-10 gallons to produce 1 gallon), expensive, slow and creates very ACIDIC water. Water pressure used to push through thin membrane. Reduces inorganics, can be designed to reduce organics.

Membrane life is short. Chemotherapy for your water. Takes out all the bad and the good.

ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT - Kills the bacteria but doesnt remove it. Water passes by intense UV source. Sterilizes water. Has no effect on organics or inorganics. CARBON BLOCK May not reduce all inorganics or viruses. Pressure forces through solid block of carbon. Reduces contaminants by physical screening, absorption or hydrogen bonding. Chlorine, heavy metals & organics reduced. No channeling. Can screen down to 0.2 microns. GRANULAR CARBON Leaves most minerals, inorganics, bacteria & viruses. Loosely packed carbon absorbs contaminants. Reduces chlorine and organics. SOFTENING Not recommended for drinking and usually creates ACIDIC water. Passes over bed of resin. Exchanges calcium and magnesium for sodium.

Effective in reducing Ca++ and Mg++. Adds sodium. Does not remove organics, metals or microbes.
