H. Assign 'Port used for incoming connections' any number between 40000 and 65536.

I. Next click on 'Bandwidth'

J. Set 'Maximum upload rate' and 'Maximum download rate' both to 0, where 0 means unlimited (0:unlimited).

The maximum upload speed should never be limited since it is directly proportional to the maximum download speed. Setting the maximum upload rate to zero makes sure that your bandwidth is not limited. Similarly, the maximum download speed should not be limited so as to maximize the bandwidth.

K. Set the 'Global maximum number of connections' to 64 to 128 (only multiples of 8).

Global maximum number of connections are connections for each of the torrents put up together. Setting this number very high doesnt help since each connection actually consumes a small bandwidth just to make sure that the connection is established and maintained all the time. So the best thing to do is to set this value to 64-128 (only multiples of 8). Note: If your internet speed is greater than 1.5 Mbps, you can set this upto 256. L. Set 'Maximum number of connected peers per torrent' to 64

Maximum number of connected peers per torrent are the number of connections allowed per torrent. Setting this to a low value of 64 serves in the best way since: 1. It won't slow down your internet connection speed for other applications . 2. It would still maximize your bandwidth on downloaded torrents.

O. Set 'Maximum number of active torrents' and 'Maximum number of active downloads' between 3 to 5.

A low value of 3 or 4 would make sure that you are actually not spreading your bandwidth over many torrents. In this case, torrents added first would be downloaded first and with higher speeds since larger bandwidth would be allocated to each of them. P. Under 'Seeding Goal (Default Values), set 'Minimum ratio(%)' to 200 or more.

Setting to 200% implies that the user seeds or shares two times the size of the file and hence the download rate is enhanced.
