Malicius era un barbat bine facut cu parul cret si scurt cu niste ochi sticlosi si verzi inspaimantatori si se sprijinea de un sceptru cu o bila de cristal in varf si gros de vreun matru si ceva. -Parca ar fi Moddy la prima vedere. ii sopti Ron lui Harry. -Nu fiti rai, doar Moddy ne apara, nu ne ataca, deci e un personaj bun, si in plus Malicius e un prieten vechi de-al lui Dumbledore.

Pierre Auguste Renoir, nscut la 25 februarie 1841, provine dintr-o familie modest de meteugari. Copilria i-o petrece ntr-un cartier apropiat de Louvre. i ncepe cariera la 13 ani, cnd ncepe s lucreze ca pictor de porelanuri. n pauzele de prnz, mergea la Louvre i fcea desene dup faimoasele statui sau copia lucrrile unor pictori de altdat. La 19 ani, lucreaz la Louvre pe post de copiator, iar n 1862 este admis la Academia de Arte Frumoase din Paris. Mult vreme este apropiat de Monet i de impresioniti. Renoir, influenat de acest curent al artei, particip la prima expoziie a impresionitilor din 1874. Unii colecionari devin interesai de pictura impresionist, aa c artistul primete din ce n ce mai multe comenzi. Tablourile pe care le picteaz de-a lungul carierei sale, le face cu scopul de a fi expuse la Louvre i la Salon. Picteaz o mulime de portrete impresioniste precum Lise cu umbrel (1868), Doamna Monet citind (1868), Claude Renoir n costum de clovn , Doamna Charpentier i copiii si (1878) sau Portretul actriei Jeanne Samary (1878). n 1873, artistul trece printr-o perioad n care realizeaz peisaje, precum Drum printre ierburi. n 1881, realizeaz nite lucrri n care predomin negrul Umbrelele, Fete n negru, nclcnd astfel una din regulile fundamentale ale impresionismului, care interzicea folosirea negrului. Chiar i tema dansului este abordat de Renoir n tablourile sale: Dans la ar, Dans la ora i Dans la Bougival, toate realizate n 1883. n 1887, pictorul trece printr-o perioad nefericit, cnd se rupe de impresionismul i de naturalismul anilor de tineree. Marile baigneuze este tabloul ce marcheaz aceast ruptur. Din fericire, aceast perioad ,,acr din viaa lui Renoir nu dureaz mult timp. Foarte curnd, este urmat de o perioad ,,purpurie sau ,,strlucitoare, cnd picteaz tablouri precum Gabrielle, Repaus dup baie sau Lecia de muzic (1892). n 1898, se mut n casa lui din Cagnes sur Mer, unde i petrece ultimii ani ai vieii sale. Aceast mutare se datoreaz paraliziei pariale i reumatismului care l chinuia pe pictor n ultimul timp. n 1915, i moare soia, iar doi ani dintre fiii si sunt rnii n al doilea rzboi mondial. Se stinge din via la 2 decembrie 1919. Dei a murit, el triete n inimile noastre, n inimile celor care nc iubim arta; i cnd spun art nu m refer doar la arta impresionist, ci la art n general. Pierre Auguste Renoir rmne pentru noi un artist dedicat ntru totul picturii, un

erou, deoarece chinuit fiind de paralizie, picteaz pn n ultima clip a vieii sale, i, totodat, pictorul care niciodat nu a pictat ceva trist, de aceea a fost supranumit ,,pictorul bucuriilor vieii.
