An application developed to reduce communication overhead using localized sensor coverage Abstract:

The basic structure of WSN consists of nodes, connected in a network which has the ability to sense, process and communicate with the neighboring environment. The difficulties that arise due to the sensor area coverage problem, where the sensors make the decisions are specified in this theory. These decisions would be something like whether to completely turn off, or not to turn off the nodes, so that the whole region remains totally enclosed in the network, while some of the active nodes remains connected. In many cases most of the nodes are deployed, because of which it is not so easy to examine or to observe them.

Wireless Sensor Networks:

The basic structure of a Wireless Sensor network consists of an isolated set of sensors, also called as nodes, that primarily concentrates on covering the particular geographic region. So the sensor field is nothing but the geographical region under the network, while having a particular measure and that is the determined limits. In addition to this a sensor is used to get a point -topoint connection. The nodes or the sensors not only have the capability of wireless communication but also have the logical ability to administrate the topology, processing of the signal and management in the interaction..

Proposed System
Therefore the main aim of this project is to take care of the problems that arise due to redundancy, and to provide better solutions successfully. Hence with lesser interaction costs, these difficulties could be cleared by making use of localized sensor techniques. In these techniques a maximum utilization of the network resources is done, and hence the cost of communication is reduced. Hence the purpose of making use of these techniques is to find out a small number of active sensors connected in the network, which can totally cover the region as a fully employed set. Finally they send a information to the monitoring centre by enabling active sensors to get the capability of finding the faults in the total enclosed area.

Localized sensor network:

The author Youssef Chraibi (2005) explained that for the wireless sensor network it includes the huge sets of the inexpensive sensor nodes in the communication of the wireless interface. Then lots of the research has been gone through the localization of the wireless sensor network. But the several algorithms are created but they are not sufficient energy and memory of the wireless networks and for the proper communication. Then the localization in the sensor network has been defined and this localization of sensor network is considered as the Identification of sensor nodes position. For the wireless sensor network the localization is highly most preferred. Then this localization algorithm is divided in to the two main categories such as the Range Based Technique Range Free Technique
