Extrapolating data
Because it comes with the false teaching of the theory of evolution I want to
note the evolutionist depends upon extrapolating data. I note two definitions
found on the Internet:

WordNet
1. (mathematics) calculation of the value of a function outside the range of
known values
2. an inference about the future (or about some hypothetical situation) based
on known facts and observations

American Heritage New Dictionary of Cultural Literacy, Third Edition

A mathematical procedure designed to enable one to estimate unknown
values of a parameter from known values. A common method of
extrapolation is to look at data on a curve, then extend the curve into regions
for which there is no data. Extrapolation is often used to predict the future.

These two definitions are what much of the theory of evolution is based. The
claim is made that, if there are small changes in a particular species, then
major changes are made throughout time. Sometimes these thoughts are
defined as micro evolution and macro evolution. Part of this is correct.
Animals do have the ability to adapt. However, animals do not have the
ability to change species. Note the definitions of these terms from the
Merriam-Webster Dictionary:

mi·cro·evo·lu·tion
Function: noun
Pronunciation: -"e-v&-'lü-sh&n also -"e-v&-
: comparatively minor evolutionary change involving the accumulation of
variations in populations usually below the species level

mac·ro·evo·lu·tion
Function: noun
Pronunciation: 'ma-krO-"e-v&-'lü-sh&n also -"e-v&-
: evolution that results in relatively large and complex changes (as in species
formation)

Those who believe in evolution depend upon macroevolution. Unfortunately,

their thinking is very flawed. Note the extrapolated data below:

My son Alan was twenty-four inches long when he was born (24 inches = 2
feet). If he was four feet tall when he was ten and six feet tall when he was
twenty, how tall would he be at thirty years old? If we extrapolate, based on
the data given, he would be eight feet tall at age thirty. At age forty he would
be ten feel tall. This will not happen. However, the extrapolated data should
be correct if all things remained constant. Nature is not a constant in the
terms of evolution. Nature is a constant in the terms of the Bible. When
reading of the creation in Genesis one finds those things created reproduce
after their own kind (Genesis 1:11-12, 21, 24-25). We can observe this today.
Apple trees always produce apples. Dogs always produce dogs. The poor fruit
fly has been subjected to gamma radiation, x-rays and all kinds of things to
try and change it from a fly to another species, but unfortunately for the
evolutionist, it always remains a fly. Sometimes it is blind, other times it does
not have wings, but even at this, it is still a fly (basically as one would pull the
wings from it).

I realize this particular bulletin is not my usual type, however in the battle of
evolution, one must know their opposition’s doctrine. In a previous bulletin,
“The Earth – Young or Old?” there was much time spent on countering
evolution. I realize you will be taught the theory of evolution as if it is a fact.
It is not. Pure science would prove the Genesis creation to be true because as
we see in nature, things continue on after their own kind. It would also prove
the theory of evolution to be a hopeless and lost cause.

How does God hear prayers?
How does God hear prayers? The question asked seems to involve some supernatural event that
man cannot understand. However, in the room you are presently in has sounds that would
confuse you if you heard all of them at the same time. Consider all of the radio stations and
television stations that are presently airing. With the proper equipment you can single out one
particular frequency and hear with clarity what the broadcast station is presently airing. Again,
with the right equipment, one could pull in data from satellites orbiting the earth or other such
spheres in the universe. I have no doubt, hearing prayer is no more difficult for God to hear than
us having the proper equipment to listen to our favorite radio station.

The Lord heard Hanna’s prayer for a son even though she was whispering (I Samuel 1:12-13).

The Lord heard Jonah’s prayer even though Jonah was in the belly of a great fish (Jonah 2:1-9).

The Lord heard Hezekiah’s prayer though he was on his bed facing the wall (2 Kings 20:2).

God has heard many prayers from many people in various places. However, if you want your
prayer heard remember this passage: “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his
ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.” (1 Pet.
3:12 also see Psalm 34:15) - - Doug Clark

God said through Isaiah: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil;
that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet,
and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20)

In your life many people will try to persuade you that certain things are not
bad or evil: homosexuality, lying, getting drunk, doing drugs, cheating… and
many other sins. However, these people are not the authority on good and
evil. Only God is the absolute authority on good and evil. To whom will you
listen? God or the serpent? Who can provide eternal life? God or Satan. Jesus
was tempted like we are yet without sin: “For we have not an high priest
which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all
points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” Hebrews 4:15 (KJV)

Let us not allow others to sway our thinking on good and evil. Paul wrote:
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always
abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is
not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Cor. 15:58 (KJV)

He continued a little later to say: “Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you
like men, be strong.” 1 Cor. 16:13 (KJV)

Someone is counting on you to become a strong Christian. Remember the

ways of the Lord and forsake the ways of Satan.
