Letter from Pietro Fiocchi, CEO of Fiocchi of America, Inc. Our entire staff would like to say thanks for your support and for making 2008 a record year. Regardless of the current economic and political climate in the world these days, we continue the proud traditions of our fore fathers. Tradition and passion, generation after generation is what drives us not only to continue, but to continue investing in the future of our companies worldwide. 2008 was a memorable year for its highs and lows. While some markets stabilized, others began experiencing challenges that had wide reaching affects on us all. The year has come to a close with some changes that are sure to affect our industry, but we feel confident that the avid sportsmen of the country and the world will be heard loud and clear if necessary. Fiocchi Center Fire Rifle Lines: The vast majority of our Center Fire Rifle lines are developed and loaded in our own company facility in Ozark, Missouri. 21st. century state of the art ammunition loading machinery, designed and built in Italy, is being employed to ensure consistent high-quality. Our brass cases are produced with exacting tolerances and all of our components are built following the same rigid requirements that we employ to fulfill military contracts. To ensure that our production is of the highest possible quality, Fiocchi of America has constructed a new ultra-modern, 300 yard firing range for use in testing our products.

Fiocchi Frangible Non Toxic Line: This line was introduced in 2008 and immediately become a favorite for indoor ranges and PDs. Fiocchi chose the copper/tin composite SinterFire bullet for this line as it yields the proven benefits of functional reliability (due to the bullets molded in taper crimp), uniform dimensions, weight, superior accuracy and repeatable performance. These bullets , that contain no jacketing or plating , literally crumble to dust upon impact with hard surfaces .Ideal for police departments for use in tactical training scenarios , emission conscious indoor shooting ranges and for close quarter steel plate shooting. We are going to introduce in 2009 new and specific bullet configuration for existing calibers and for the 357 SIG. We have chosen the XTP bullet due to its exceptional characteristics of controlled expansion and down range performance. This bullet design, coupled with Fiocchis renowned nickel-plated brass cases, has been specifically engineered to provide trouble free, completely reliable feeding and smooth chamber extraction in semi-automatics. Fiocchi has balanced these fine components with reliable powders and our famous primers to obtain the perfect ballistic equilibrium. Fiocchi Frangible Non-Toxic Line: Our cutting edge line utilizes SinterFire frangible, lead free bullets. Of particular interest for use in indoor ranges, steel plate shooting matches, and by police departments for tactical training, these bullets literally crumble to dust upon impact with hard surfaces. The copper/tin composite SinterFire bullet (containing no jacket or plating) yields the proven benefits of functional reliability (due to the bullets molded-in taper crimp), uniform dimensions, weight, superior accuracy, and repeatable performance. Introducing NEW Tundra Waterfowl HTS and HTL rounds: When the Fiocchi R & D Department was challenged with the task of determining what was to be the best project for non-toxic Premium shotshells in Heavier-than-Steel ( HTS ) and Heavier-than-Lead (HTL ) the answer was easy: we had to think outside the box. We all know that Bismuth shots are erratic in shape and brittle, often disintegrating while traveling along the barrel; sinterized tungsten on the other hand lacked deformation capacity and could damage barrel and chokes.2009 brings the addition of our long anticipated Tundra Composite HTS and HTL loads that are going to implement our 5-Star graphically (tampographed 4-color) printed case. The Tundra compound will be available in 2009 in 9.5 g/cc. (HTS) and 12.5 g/cc. (HTL). This extremely innovative compound has a spherical shape, no brittleness, and a deformation upon impact basically identical to lead. These factors allow the hunter to be able to utilize tight chokes without fear. Both configurations (HTS and HTL) will be available in 2 and 3 inch. Shells.

Fiocchis popper Blanks (offered in 1,000 round bulk packaging) are the most popular and successful loads on the US market for use in hunting and dog training competitions. Our Rubber Buckshot and Rubber Baton rounds are an ideal resource for LE use in the less than lethal field as they are for game management when the objective is to deter the presence of an animal more than the elimination of the same.
