PERT is a powerful yet intuitive analysis tool which makes it easier to identify potential bottlenecks and understand the impact of change on the flow of a project. PERT enables you to build schedules, analyze problems and critical paths, and to easily produce graphic reports.

P3s resource calendars allow managers to more precisely assign and track individual, high-value resources down to the hour. You can enter resources into projects as hierarchical structures with roll-up summary abilities and use resource availability to calculate the duration of resource-driven activities. P3s resource leveling options allow users to split, stretch and/or crunch activities based on availability.

P3's Web Wizard automatically builds and updates structured web pages from P3 reports. It does much more than just export HTML reports from P3, it actually builds a summary reporting mechanism which arranges different reports into a multi-level structure which can be "drilled-down" into to find more detailed information.

Primavera Post Office

P3 offers extensive communication support allowing project managers and team members to exchange project data through any MAPI or VIM compliant mail system. The Primavera Post Office is a front-end applet which allows team members to open Primavera-generated mail messages to be viewed and updated in a simple, tabular format. This Web Wizard has been included for more efficient e-mail creation by allowing e-mail addresses to be built-into its activity coding dictionary, allowing the manager to simultaneously broadcast unique messages to everyone on the project team.
