INSTRUCTIVO DE OPERACION PARA PLATOS CALIENTES

NOTA IMPORTANTE: Para obtener un servicio satisfactorio de su Plato Caliente es INDISPENSABLE leer muy bien y seguir las instrucciones de este instructivo de operacin. DESEMPACADO E INSPECCION Maneje el equipo con cuidado pues golpes fuertes pueden causar dao al mismo. Este equipo es empacado especialmente con espuma de poliuretano para evitar daos durante el transporte, sin embargo es recomendable que al recibirlo se revise; en caso de detectar golpes en la caja, desempacarlo en presencia del transportador o asentarlo en el taln de embarque para hacer efectivo INSTALACION Lea la placa de especificaciones adherida al gabinete del equipo por la parte trasera para conocer el voltaje requerido y la potencia de operacin, conecte el equipo a un contacto adecuado para dichas especificaciones. Es indispensable tambin que el contacto sea tripolar y debidamente aterrizado. El Plato Caliente puede colocarse sobre cualquier superficie plana y firme dejando al menos un espacio de 15 cm entre sta y cualquier superficie vertical o pared.

CONTROL DE TEMPERATURA El control de temperatura tipo Infiltrol (15), regula la temperatura de la plancha calefactora (1) de forma proporcional al ajuste de la perilla de control. Esta perilla permite al usuario seleccionar temperaturas entre 100 y 400 C con una sensibilidad aproximada del 10%. (El giro de esta perilla es contrario a las manecillas del reloj).

ELEMENTO CALEFACTOR El elemento calefactor (2) es de tipo blindado, es fcilmente reemplazable y tiene contacto en un 80% de su superficie con la plancha calefactora, haciendo que la transmisin de calor sea altamente eficiente.

OPERACION Encender el equipo con la perilla de control (14) y seleccionar la temperatura de operacin deseada, la luz piloto debe iluminarse, al mismo tiempo la plancha inicia su calentamiento hasta llegar a la temperatura fijada. El giro de la perilla es contra las manecillas del reloj. 1/ 6

PRECAUCIONES Asegurese que la plancha calefactora este fra antes de poner la mano sobre la misma para evitar quemaduras. Cuando se efecte cualquier labor de mantenimiento, desconecte el equipo de la fuente de energa. Tenga cuidado de apagar el equipo cuando no est utilizandolo. Variaciones de voltaje pueden ocasionar daos en los componentes y variar las temperaturas de operacin. MANTENIMIENTO Como cualquier producto manufacturado, despus de un tiempo de operacin algunas partes del equipo pueden daarse. Para reemplazarlas use partes genuinas de fabrica, una lista de partes se incluye en este instructivo. Ordene siempre con el numero y cdigo de parte. Todas las refacciones, servicio de reparacin y garanta pueden ser solicitadas con nuestros Distribuidores o directamente a nuestra Planta.

OWNERS MANUAL FOR HOT PLATES

The care you take in reading and following this instructions will probably determinate the satisfactory service you will receive from your Hot Plate. NOTE: This equipment must be used only for its intended application, any alteration or modification will avoid the guarantee. UNPACKING Carefully remove the Hot Plate from the shipping case. Preserve all paper work for future reference. If damage has occurred from shipment a claim must be filled with the carrier immediately; preserve the shipping container for inspection by the carrier. Contact your Daler or Felisa. INSTALLATION Install your Hot Plate by connecting to a supply of adequate voltage, cycle, phase and wattage (see specification label). Voltage should not vary more than 10% from the data plate rating. When selecting a site for the equipment, consider all conditions which might affect performance. The Hot Plate can be install on any surface or table sufficiently strong and firm. Allow al least a space of 15 cm between the Hot Plate and any other equipment, material or surface. TEMPERATURE CONTROL The temperature control (15), regulates the temperature in the plate (01) proportionally, based on the control knob (14) selection. This knob allows the user to select temperatures between 100 and 400 C. With an approximate error of + - 10%. The knob operation is CCW. HEATING ELEMENT Armored type stainless steel heating element (2) is integrated with the aluminum die casting plate giving a high efficiency in the heat transfer. The heating element is easily replaceable. HOT PLATE OPERATION Turn on you Hot Plate with the temperature control Knob (14) and select the desired temperature, the pilot light will turn on and the plate starts the heating until reach the select temperature. It is important to understand that the temperature selected in the control correspond to the plate temperature. When you dont need heat in the plate turn off the equipment. PRECAUTIONS Never touch the Hot Plate until you are absolutely sure that the plate is cool. To carry out any maintenance work disconnect the Hot Plate from its energy source. Variations in voltage con damage the components and modify the control settings. Tun off your equipment when you are not using it. REPAIRS Like any other manufactured product, some parts of the Hot Plate could be damaged after using for a

Aquellos articulos que en su totalidad o en sus partes resulten defectuosos seran reparados o repuestos sin cargo segun sea el caso y se entregaran LAB en nuestra Planta. Los motores electricos estan garantizados de acuerdo con la politica del fabricante. Esta garantia dejara de surtir efecto si se comprobase que los articulos han sido utilizados en forma ajena para la cual han sido diseados, de igual forma no cubrira los daos ocasionados durante su transporte o los provocados por alteraciones hechas por personas no autorizadas por Felisa. La responsabilidad maxima en ningun caso sera mayor que el valor del producto involucrado. Felisa se reserva el derecho de hace cambios o modificaciones en sus productos sin previo aviso con el fin de mejorar su presentacion y/o operacion.

All products manufactured by Felisa are guaranteed for one year from date of shipment from Felisa plant. All those products returned within one year will be rebuilt or replaced under the guarantee regardless of reason for failure. Electric motors are guaranteed according to the manufacturer policies. Exceptions may be made by Felisa on particular applications where experience has indicated so conditions are so unusual that premature failure can be expected. Transportaion charges in all cases will be at customers expense. Maximum liability in no case will exceed the value of the Felisa product involved.
