Check on ground that the difference between the two primary altitude indicationsislessthanthetolerancespecifiedintheabovetable.

PRIORTORVSMAIRSPACEENTRY Should any of the required equipment fail prior entering the RVSM airspace, thecrewmustrequestnewclearance,toavoidflightinthisairspace.Thetwo primary altitude indications (PFD indication from the onside ADR or ADR 3) shouldbeinaccordancewithTable1. If only two ADRs are operative the altimeter indications on the PFD and standbyaltimetersshouldberecorded.Thisinformationmaybeusefulincase ofsubsequentPFDaltitudediscrepancy,orthelossofbothremainingADRs. WITHINRVSMAIRSPACE AutopilotshouldbeengagedwithinRVSMairspaceforcruiseandflightlevel changes. Duringclearedtransitionsbetweenflightlevels,theaircraftshouldnotover shootorundershoottheclearedflightlevelsbymorethan150ft. Every approximately 1 hr, check that PFD altimeter indications agree in accordancewithTable1. Usethetransponderandtheautopilot,associatedwithoneoftheADRwhich iswithintolerance. Notes: Theflightcrewcanobtainthecontingencyproceduresforflyingin MinimumNavigationPerformanceSpecification(MNPS)airspaceby referringtospecificmanuals(i.e.theNorthAtlanticMNPSManual). IfunabletonotifyATCandobtainATCclearancepriortodeviating fromtheassignedclearedflightlevel,thecrewshouldfollowthe establishedcontingencyprocedureandobtainATCclearanceassoon aspossible.
