Brief Summary
I am seasoned Software Professional with nearly 12 years of experience in managing almost all aspects of Software Product development in Mobile domain striving to make career in Product Management. Possess rich experience in software development in three major areas of mobile domain viz. VAS (Value added Services), Networks components (CDMA, GSM and UMTS) and Terminal side (Handsets and Tablets). An avid learner, I am currently pursuing PGSEM (Post Graduate Diploma in Software Enterprise Management) from IIM Bangalore. Professional Profile
My current primary responsibility is to manage Software Development for Toshiba Android Tablets and to generate ideas for enhancing customer perceived value of these tablets. Make Business cases and share with Product Planning team and senior management and to Reduce development costs by increasing Value-Add of India Development Center in Toshiba's overall Tablet Development scheme. Has proven experience in identifying and creating Niche Applications for Handsets and Tablets. Prominent ones are Apalya Live TV, Music on Demand (LG Zap Box), NewsHunt, Ecomix and mDictionary etc. on LG Optimus, LG Cookie and LG Star Tab Series. MyFav, FileSync, Kitting and Proximity locking etc. on Toshiba Tablets (Regza and Excite series). Has handled aspects like generation of idea (Idea contests, Surveys, VOCs and Competitive analysis etc.); converting them to requirement documents (MRD and PRD); manage application development (either in-house or source from 3rd. party/vendor); feature/application roadmap management; and communication management between R&D and Marketing/Sales/factory etc. Has more than Six years of experience in managing mobile handset S/W development and launches across the world. This includes complete end-to-end responsibility from coordinating with product planning, S/W development, interactions with H/W teams, coordination with the factory and resolution of Service center issues. Employment Summary
Toshiba Embedded Software India Pvt. LTD. (January 2012 to present) Toshiba Embedded Software India (TESI) is subsidiary of Toshiba Corporation Japan and is engaged in software development for various Toshiba companies. One new domain TESI is venturing is Tablets and mobile devices. I work as Project Manager in DS-Tablet division and supervise software development for Android Tablets (Excite and Regza brands); besides I generate Indian Intelligence and interface with Product planning teams.

LG SOFT INDIA Pvt. LTD. (October 2003 to January 2012) LG SOFT INDIA Pvt. Ltd. (LGSI) is largest R&D center of LG Electronics outside South Korea and works mainly towards mobile phone software development. I joined LGSI as Senior Software engineer in CDMA Handset development group, here I designed and developed Call UI module for Reliance handsets (RD2130 and RD5330 etc.). After that, I became one of the founding members of 3GCA (3G Handset Country Adaptation) group undertaking 3G handset country adaptation. I handled increasingly responsible positions, from individual contributor (Radio, Call and Platform modules) to Model Manager (handling launches of all EMP/QCT/INF based models) and catering to all the operators/open releases across globe (from Telstra in Australia to Claro in Brazil) in just 3 years. My last role in LGSI was as Application Product Manager (Assistant Manager) and was responsible for generating Intelligence (Analytics and VOC etc.) and mapping it to the requirements for handsets launched in India and Middle East Asia. Motorola India Electronics Ltd. (August 2002 to October 2003 (1 Year 2 months)) Worked as consultant to Motorola India Electronics Ltd; Hyderabad from Integra Micro Systems (P) Ltd (Holding company of Jataayu Software (p) Ltd). Here my work was on Wireless Infrastructure (CCP Test Tools development); I created a framework called invader, which reduced significant testing effort. It was very well appreciated and was adopted by many other groups within Motorola. Jataayu Software (P) Ltd. (March 2001 to October 2003 (2 years 7 months)) Jataayu is subsidiary of Integra Micro Systems (P) Ltd, which is dedicated towards creating cutting-edge applications in the WAP and VAS solutions arena. I joined Jataayu after passing out of CDAC ACTS, Delhi; my work here was mainly as a solution programmer involving various VAS solution platforms, which Jataayu had developed. Here noticeably I worked on creating a complete embedded device (hardware and software) called WAPenTel, which when plugged with normal PSTN line was capable of browsing WAP sites. Integrated SMS, WAP, VoiceXML and MMS gateways into one solution called jMIMS. This became one of the Jataayus flagship products. Created business/functional solution for Bill Junction Service, via which they could make migration from email base service to SMS based. Created numerous SMS based solutions for then 8888 Indiatimes service and MTNL etc.

Awards/Achievements
Won Best OPM award at Toshiba for improvements in Android CTS testing achieving substantial cost benefits. Won almost all awards instituted by LG Soft India for team performance and individual contributions. Achieved first rank in one month in- house training conducted by Jataayu Software Pvt. Ltd, with best performance in the C programming Language. Won First Prize at IIT, Mumbais National Level Chemical Festival CHEMSPLASH 2000 for Paper titled Magnetic Fluids: an Alternative Approach to Separation. Paper Titled Proposed Model for Ore Separation using Magnetic Fluids got published in Chemical Engineering World Vol. XXXV No. 1, Jan 2000.
