Airmux License Key for Activating Frequency Bands

Introduction
Airmux products have selectable frequency bands. To ensure compliance with ETSI and FCC regulations, some products are shipped with certain bands disabled even though they are supported by the product. To reactivate these frequency bands, RAD provides license keys. These instructions explain how to obtain and enter a license key for frequency band activation.

Requirements
The license key for enabling frequency bands requires the following: Airmux Manager software version 8.4.50 or later Airmux-400 units: hardware version 3 or later; software version 2.4.50 or later Airmux-200 units: hardware version 7 or later; software version 1.93 or later.

If the Airmux units and software do not meet these requirements, you must first perform the software upgrade procedures, as described in the following section. If the Airmux units and software meet these requirements, you can begin the frequency band activation procedures.
