Wind turbine generators

ABB has manufactured wind power generators for more than 25 years. The generators are designed specifically for wind turbine applications. ABB offers all the main concepts from fixed speed and doubly-fed to permanent magnet (PM) generators. PM generators have the benefits of high efficiency and fewer parts. They are also more compact and have many operational advantages. ABB can supply a wide array of equipment from the generator to the grid connection.
