Be It Love !

For Cantata Poeta Ricardo Sal LaRosa 7 December 2012 Long Island, New York

O Cantata ! Bringing hope into my life Where only despair dared dwell Brilliant stars a glowing In her eyes of brown For this poet and him alone ! This brave warrior of ancient days Has had his share of his disillusionments Sowing; harvesting for love; vainly, In barren lands Where only deceit; only death did flourish Slaying him merciless ! O Cantata ! As I look into your beautiful eyes I feel worlds; I feel stars on the move Earth trembling Celestial stars sighing All I hear is your voice vibrating upon my spirit ! I want to scream thunderously your sacred name ! I want to tell you and the whole universe; O how much I love you ! And I have tried clandestinely To convey to you my feelings, But then I hold back for fear of losing you; For fear of overwhelming you with this endless love ! O Cantata ! Your sweet, sweet glance Your girlish laughter Your big alluring brown eyes

Your hands soft touch upon me Those hugs of yours around my being; O why ! O Cantata ! Be it love ! O sweet dream of mine ! Let it be love flowing from your being to my Spirit ! Let me into your heart, For I am dying from this cruel coldness of hurt of un-loveliness ! Be it love ! Your love my darling girl ! Let it reign forevermore Upon me on this earth and beyond this life, Upon this dreamer; Upon this poet passionately in love with you ! O Cantata ! I have loved you in silence I have adored you; still I adore you with words unspeakable I cried quietly for your love no more ! O be it love ! Yours ! Yours ! Yours ! O my Cantata ! ! !
