We are looking forward to welcoming our guests once again for the ICDE 2nd Anniversary Celebration, 28th-29th June 2013. Feedback from our First Anniversary made it clear that a second Anniversary event is a must. We would like to thank everyone who attended and also for your tremendous feedback; more than 85% of delegates in 2012 expressed a desire to attend next years event. We will focus activities towards the team approach with extended educational sessions for the whole of the dental profession. There will also be an international feel with guest speakers from Europe, featuring direct and indirect restorative lectures and demonstrations. Offering 15 hours of CPD on a wide range of subjects within dentistry as well as entertainment, food and drink, I am sure it will be a great two days! Over the past two years we have further developed into a major contributor to dental education in the UK completing more than 300 International, national and local courses. In 2013 we will deliver a bigger and better education menu with easier ways to book and keep in touch with other delegates, offering tips and tricks, news and success stories. Our marketing team will also help you to promote your new membership of The International Centre for Dental Education. Large direct composite restorations: Managing aesthetics and function.
While small cavities can usually be handled easily, large cavities often display additional challenges: subgingival margins, blood and saliva control when rubberdam is not possible, contamination during the restorative procedure. With several clinical cases, the lecture analyzes the most important steps in the clinical procedure and gives clear recommendations how to avoid the most common mistakes.
