Employee Retention Techniques in NADRA


Introduction: World has become a global village. Today neither employees nor the organization can make progress without facing a tough competition. Both employees and employers are interdependent on each other. On one hand employees try to make their place in the organization through their hard work and other skills and on the other hand organization through its drivers of employees retention try to convey the message that it care for its employees and once the message is conveyed, retention works finest. This study will identify the drivers of employees retention, particularly employees working in NADRA. Although there are number of strategies for mentioned above that different organizations have different employee retention strategies but this study will examine the affects of some specific techniques of employees retention like work environment, compensation packages and work-life balance. Rationale of the Research Project: The purpose of this research is to provide profound knowledge of the topic. THEORATICAL FRAMEWORK Dependent Variables Independent Variables

HYPOTHESIS: H0: Work environment results in turnover of the employees. H1: Work environment doesnt result in turnover of the employees. H0: Work-life balance affects the employees. H1: Work-life balance doesnt affect the employees. H0: Compensation benefits affect the employees of an organization. H1: Compensation benefits dont affect the employees of an organization.

Methodology: This section will discuss the sample selection procedure, the model used for the research and the statistical techniques employed to find out that how retention policies of NADRA, affects its employees. Sample: Sampling methodology adopted for data collection is based on purposive sampling, as sample was selected from specific target. Main focus area is Rawalpindi /Islamabads branches of NADRA. Sources of Data: For this project, we would be collecting primary and secondary data. Result and Discussion In this study we focused on effects of retention techniques on the employees of NADRA in Rawalpindi /Islamabad, including following facts: Work-life balance, Compensation packages and Work environment. Conclusion This is an empirical based study and it analyzes different retention techniques. Job retention is a significant issue now these days. The study analyzes the variable which his affect the employees attitude with respect retention in organization. Furthermore the findings of the study presents that there should be a concrete relationship with the management and employee and also HR strategies should managed in a way that will promote long term relationship with its talented employees.
