Focus : Language Arts Topic : Save The Sea Creatures Theme : World Of Knowledge Class : Year 3 Duration : 1 hour

( 8.45a.m. 9.45 a.m. ) Enrolment : 20 pupils Content Standard : 4.3 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to plan, organize and produce creative works for enjoyment. Learning Standard : 4.3.1 Able to produce simple creative works with guidance based on the story. Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to : a) Identify the sea creatures in the story by rearranging the picture puzzle and scramble alphabets. b) Produce creative poster based on the title of the story. c) Have fun during the learning process. Added value : creativity Materials : Picture cards, word cards, envelope, handouts, laptop, LCD projector. EMK : ICT Warmer ( 5 M ) : 1. Teacher refresh pupils memory by jumble up the title of the story. 2. Pupils need to rearrange the words and form the title of the story. Example:

Pre-Activity (20 M) : 1. Teacher divide pupils into 4 groups. Each group consists of five pupils. 2. Teacher distributes envelopes to each group. Each envelope consists of picture puzzle and scramble alphabets. 3. Pupils need to arrange the alphabets and pictures to identify the sea creatures in the story.

While-Activity (25 M): 1. Teacher distributes two manila cards and a marker pen for each group. 2. Each group need to create a poster entitle save the sea creatures and write five ways to save the sea creatures. 3. Teacher guide and facilitates each group.

Post-Activity (10 M) :

1. Each group needs to present the poster and also the five ways to save the sea creatures. 2. During this process, teacher guides each group.
