Game Rules Must be played with at least 3 players Must be played at University Heights Basketball court by building 6 in order for the game to be official Game is started with a serve which is where a player shoots or throws the ball at the backboard/ rim while standing outside the three point line Each player gets 3 outs First player to 11 points (win by two) wins. To receive one out, a player must either o Miss the backboard and rim on a serve o Catch the ball while still on the ground, and not reach the basketball goal pole before the ball is thrown and makes contact with the backboard. o Purposely kicking the ball out of bounds behind the fence for an incentive shot. o For starting any fight, or any contact too unreasonably violent o Block the shot, or touch the ball at all (except feet) and not touch the pole before the backboard gets hit with the ball. To score a point, a player must get the ball through the hoop by 1. Having feet in air during contact with ball in the court is 1 point 2. If you are out of bounds your feet must remain on the ground, and is worth different amounts depending on the zone you are in ( refer to the chart) 3. After winning incentive possession (see below for incentive details) you make your three pointer ( worth 2 points) 4. After making a shot, you get the chance to serve from the 3 point line. If you make the shot, you get the choice of whether you want to take a risk. If you say you want to, you shoot another 3, and if it goes in you get 1 point. If you miss you get one out. Before your second shot, if you make the first one, you can say you dont want the risk, so you can just hit the backboard like normal, but if you air ball, it still counts as an out like a regular serve. 5. If two players have a hand on the ball and score, it is a double. Both players get a point. (very rare) 6. Any basket made by foot, or a header is an automatic 2 points Incentive Shot 1. In the event of the ball going over the fence behind the basket, and it rolls down the hill, all players can use reasonable aggression to go retrieve the ball. When you get it, you try to get up the hill, through the opening of the fences ( not climb the fence) and whoever

has possession of the ball and steps onto the court get to take an incentive shot. (a shot behind the 3 point line worth 2 points. Air ball out rule applies). After the shot, the game continues. Defense: Once the ball goes through the hoop from a shot, all the other players have the ability to catch it before it hits the ground and play as a team to get the ball back through the bottom of the hoop, while whoever scored the point tries the make the ball hit the ground. Once it hits the ground after it goes through the hoop, the play is dead and there is a serve. If it is thrown back through the hoop after a make, and the ball hits the ground the play is also dead. The player who made the shot originally receives no point this way, but starts the game back up through a serve. The result of receiving three outs is that you go back down to 3 points. If you do not yet have 3 points you go to 0. Another word for an out is a Spoofle To Redeem an out A player must do all the following Make a serve Make the next serve/ chance play and receive the chance point Make another shot Make Another shot

Once you complete 4 straight shots, you lose one of your outs that you have acquired. If you miss the 4th shot, you lose one point, and play on.

A championship is won, once a player tallies up to 7 total wins.
