Stage 3- Learning Plan Learning Activities: 1. Go over the objectives for the professional development workshop with the participants. 2. Ask for participants to share their knowledge/familiarity and current use of twitter. 3. I will provide an overview about the language of Twitter, discussing the way in which social media has created a discourse specific to its users. In order to utilize Twitter effectively, it is important to understand the language that is used on the site. 4. Place everyone in collaborative groups to brainstorm I will ask everyone to begin the brainstorming activity. I will then encourage everyone use their netbooks to online and create a Twitter account, log in, and try it out (I will circulate the room to answer any questions) 8.
