CONSIDERATION OF BILLS:

Bill No. 29-0247 An Act amending title 27 of the Virgin Islands Code to regulate the practice of telemedicine in the United States Virgin Islands Bill No. 29-0295 An Act amending title 33 Virgin Islands Code adding chapter 119 relating to civil remedies for making false claims against the Government Bill No. 29-0297 An Act amending title 4, chpater8, section 123 of the Virgin Islands Code by increasing the jurisdiction of the Magistrate Division of the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands to include all misdemeanors Bill No. 29-0365 An Act to require the Virgin Islands Department of Health to develop an Alzheimers Disease Plan for the Government of the Virgin Islands

Bill No. 29-0385 To authorize (1) the issuance of bonds, notes or other evidences of indebtedness (the Series 2012 Bonds) of the Government of the Virgin Islands Public Finance Authority (the Authority) to provide funds to (A) finance all or a portion of the costs of certain projects list in Section 2 of this act (the Capital Projects) in an amount up to $27,500,00, (B) finance all or a portion of the costs of the acquisition of a fleet of police vehicles and related equipment for the Virgin Islands, Police Department (the 2012 Police Fleet Project, and together with the Capital Projects, the Series 2012 Capital Projects) in an amount up to $7,000,000, (C) refund and restructure the debt service on all of the outstanding Gross Receipts Taxes Bond, Series 1999A issued for working capital purposes (the Series 2012 Refunding Projects, and together with the Series 2012 Capital Projects, the Series 2012 Projects) (D) fund any necessary reserves, (E) pay the costs of issuance of the Series 2012 Bonds, () the Government and the Authority to enter into certain agreements, and pledge, as applicable, either the Matching Fund Revenues (as hereinafter defined) and issue limited special obligation notes (the Matching Fund Loan Notes) to secure repayment of all or a portion of the Series 2012 Bonds (Matching Fund Revenue Bonds) or the Gross Receipts Taxes Bonds (as hereinafter defined) and issue general obligation notes (the Gross Receipts Taxes Bonds Loan Notes) to secure repayment of all or a portion of the Series 2012 Bonds, and () the amendment of V.I. Act No. 7267 (the Broadband Act) to provide for the long-term financing of the Broadband Project through issuance of either Gross Receipts Taxes Bonds or Matching Fund Revenue Bonds Bill No. 29-0387 To authorize the issuance of bonds, notes or other evidences of indebtedness of the Government of the Virgin Islands (the Government) and/or the Virgin Islands Public Finance Authority (the Authority) for the purpose of providing funds to (i) finance all or a portion of the costs of the Series 2012 Energy Projects (defined below) in an amount up to $35,000,000, (ii) fund any necessary reserves, (iii) pay the costs of issuance of the Series 2012 Matching Fund Revenue Bonds and Series 2012 Energy Projects MFR Loan Notes or, in the alternative, the Series 2012 Gross Receipts Taxes Bonds and the Series 2012 Energy Projects GRT Loan Notes (each as defined below), and (iv) pay costs of any liquidity facility or bond insurance relating to the Bonds authorized herein and (v) authorize the Government and the Authority to enter into certain agreements, pledge the Matching Fund Revenues (as hereinafter defined) or the Gross Receipts Tax Revenues (as hereinafter defined) of the Government, and issue limited special obligation notes or general obligation notes to secure repayment of such bonds, notes or other obligations Bill No. 29-0443 An Act to appropriate funds from the General Fund to the Virgin Islands to the University of the Virgin Islands to restore salaries that were reduced as a result of the Virgin Islands Economic Stability Act of 2011 Bill No. 29-0444 - An Act amending 22 V.I.C., chapter 9 and 331 relating to insurers and non resident agent brokers Bill No. 29-0445 An Act to approve certain projects to be funded by the 2012 Community Development Block Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
