Formas verbales y conjugacin del verbo ingls "to be"

El verbo be es el verbo ms comn en ingls, y el ms irregular. La conjugacin gramatical consiste de generar todas las formas de un verbo sistemticamente para cada persona, nmero, y tiempo. VERVO TO BE EN TIEMPO PRESENTE: AM , IS, ARE 1. El verbo TO BE tiene tres formas en el tiempo presente: AM - IS - ARE

I am /ai m/ (Yo soy/estoy) You are /i :r/ (T eres/ests) He is /hi: z/ (El es/est) She is /shi: z/ (Ella es/est) It is /it z/ (Es/est)

We are /wi: :r/ (Nosotros/as somos o estamos) You are /i :r/ (Uds. son/estn) They are /i :r/ (Ellos/as son/estn)

La forma negativa se expresa usando la palabra not. Normalmente formando las contracciones ISN T AREN T

We are not: Nosotros (as) no somos , no estamos You are not: Ustedes o vosotros no son, no estn They are not: Ellos o ellas no son, no estn

La forma interrogativa Se expresa mediante simple inversin de orden con el sujeto de la oracin

VERBO TO BE TIEMPO PASADO: WAS - WERE

Significado Yo estaba en el trabajo. Yo estaba en el hospital. Ella estaba en la oficina. Ellos eran amigos. El techo estaba daado. Las laminas de techo estaban daadas. La tubera estaba vieja. La mujer estaba feliz. Nosotros estbamos tristes.

VERBO TO BE EL TIEMPO FUTURO: WILL BE Al agregar will, convertimos en futuro al verbo que le sigue: I will come to see you tonight. Ejemplo Affirmative

Bill will finish this later. Bill terminar esto despus. This will be very easy. Esto ser muy fcil. I will call you back. Yo te volver a llamar. It will rain next week. Llover la semana que viene.
