2012-13 Membership Information

Student-Athletes Excel on Field, in Classroom

Keuka Colleges student-athletes continue to raise the bar for success, both on the playing fields and in the classroom. For example, in 2011-12: The Keuka softball team earned a sixth straight invitation to the NCAA Division III tournament while the womens basketball went to the Big Dance for the fourth time in six years. Keuka captured North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) postseason championships in womens basketball (sixth in eight years), mens lacrosse (two straight seasons) and softball (six in a row). The womens sports program won the NEAC Presidents Cup, symbolic of the best overall program in the conference, for the fourth straight year. Fifty-three student-athletes maintained a cumulative grade-pointaverage of 3.4 or higher during both the fall and spring semesters to garner NEAC scholar-athlete honors, the second-highest total in the conference. These accomplishments are even more impressive given the fact that Keukas intercollegiate athletics budget is smaller than the majority of teams against which it competes. Each year, the challenge to remain competitive on the conference, regional, and national levels grows. You can help meet that challenge by joining Stormwatchers, the official booster club of Keuka College. The clubs primary mission is to generate support for Keukas 16 intercollegiate teams through financial support, promoting community awareness, and encouraging fans to come out and support the Green & Gold.

How Your Gift Helps

In recent years, the Stormwatchers booster club has: funded the construction of the Lyle P Corey Press Box at the . soccer/lacrosse field at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex; established and supported the Keuka College Athletics Hall of Fame, which honors the best of best student-athletes from past Keuka squads as well as key contributors; helped fund the construction and upkeep of the playing fields at the Jephson Complex; purchased equipment, uniforms and banners for the Colleges sports teams; and helped fund both spring training trips and special skills camps for the Storm.
