LIGHT FOR LONG-LASTING HIGH-QUALITY COMFORT

The Aura Luminette-LL is a 26 mm diameter Long-Life trip-hosphor fluorescent lamp with three times longer service life compared to standard tri-phosphor lamps. It has a high colour rendering of Ra 85. Luminette-LL produces 10 % to 12 % more light than standard colour fluorescent lamps. In addition it has a better lumen maintenance throughout its service life. Luminette-LL uses two special patents. One for the unique cathode construction and another for the inside protection layer. The design, together with stringent quality controls during a highprecision manufacturing process, provides an unique fluorescent lamp.
LONG LIFE LIGHTS The Long Life Lights concept comprises light sources with extra long service life. The concept is the result of innovative product development and rigorous quality control. For our customers, the unique service life means that light sources do not need to be changed so often, which reduces their maintenance costs. The products in the concept are therefore an investment for our customers and for the environment. Products such as fluorescent tubes and light bulbs are developed, manufactured and sold within the framework of the Long Life Lights concept.

Operation is possible in standard luminaires by conventional or low-loss ballast and starter or electronic HF ballast.

LUMINETTE LONG LIFE

Applications
Luminette-LL is recommended for use in environments where people are staying and a high-quality light is of major importance. Most profitable is the use in areas where the lamp replacement may be difficult and cost intensive. Luminette-LL is well-suited for offices, shops, industrial production areas, warehouses, sports facilities, hospitals, hotels and restaurants.

Lifetime
T he service life of Luminette-LL is 36.000 hours for 18 W, 36 W, 36 W-1m and 58 W for the most used light colours. T he service life is reached when the amount of light in an installation falls to 70 % of the initial 100-hour value. T he service life of the lamp failure rate, and the lumen depreciation are calculated according to I E C /E N 60081, which is based on a three-hour operation switching cycle. W hen operated by electronic ballast (warm start) the service life for these tri-phosphor lamps is extended to 45.000 hours.

Graph 1 shows the service life of Aura Luminette-LL compared to standard tri-phosphor fluorescent lamps. T he lumen maintenance of Luminette-LL is shown in graph 2.

Long-Life guarantee
T he Aura Long-Life fluorescent lamps are manufactured in accordance with IEC /EN 60081. For economical reasons Aura recommends group replacement of fluorescent lamps. W ith group replacement Aura guarantees the following service life:
