There are two major prayer requests we would like to share with you concerning the ministry of Word of Life Hungary Bible Institute
Firstly, we would covet your prayers concerning a much needed building project for the Bible Institute. Praise the Lord for the great group of students God has entrusted to us. In January, with the addition of several new students, we will reach our maximum capacity given our current housing limitations. The building pictured below is the last of the remnants of the old communist kids camp dormitories. It is our final barrack which has yet to be winterized and therefore is unusable during the school year. Because our Bible Institute and internship program has grown so quickly, we are in desperate need of more student housing and more offices for staff. Our dream is to tear down this old summer camp cabin (which is in horrible disrepair) and build a new two-story building in its place. The bottom half would be used for student dorms, while the upstairs could be used for much needed office space and a multi-purpose room. This is a big project. We as a Bible Institute staff have been praying with faith for over a year, and we will continue to do so believing that God wants more young people equipped for a lifetime of service. We know that the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective (James 5:16). Please pray with us in faith that God would provide the resources and help to erect a great facility that can be used during the summer for more campers to hear the gospel and during the school year for addition students to be trained in the Word. For more information about this building opportunity,
please email Paul Weaver at pweaver@eletszava.org

Secondly, we would like to ask your prayers for the Solid Foundation Scholarship Fund. This year we have 31 students from Central and Eastern Europe who are in need of financial help from the Scholarship Fund. While we have chosen to enroll all of these students for the Fall Semester, we do not have enough scholarship money to sustain them all past December. Many of the students who would like to attend WOL Hungary Bible Institute cannot afford to do so because they are from low-income countries in Eastern and Central Europe. It is our desire to give every young person the opportunity to study Gods Word, regardless of his or her financial situation. Will you please pray with us for financial partners with the Scholarship Fund? We are confident that the Lord will provide the necessary funds if He wills to do so. Please pray for faithful partners who will join with us as we train young men and women from all over Europe for a lifetime of ministry. It truly is an investment in eternity!
