Holy Fathers Prayer Intentions for October General Intention: New Evangelization. That the New Evangelization may progress in the oldest Christian countries. Missionary Intention: World Mission Day. That the celebration of World Mission Day may result in a renewed commitment to evangelization. Teachings of the Church Man is by nature and vocation a religious being. Coming from God, going toward God, man lives a fully human life only if he freely lives by his bond with God. CCC 44 Wisdom of the Saints To harbor no envy, no anger, no resentment against an offender is still not to have charity for him. It is possible, without any charity, to avoid rendering evil for evil. But to render, spontaneously, good for evil - such belongs to a perfect spiritual love. ~ St. Maximus the Confessor
