James 1:17 See The Little Things God Does Many a time, we look out only for big demonstrations of God s love to feel loved a nd favored by God. My friend, don t just look out for the big blessings. Bless God when you do get th em, but look out for the small blessings and tokens of His love that He showers on you each day. That little baby that smiled at you? That s Jesus winking at you from heaven! That little note of encouragement from your colleague? God moved th at person s heart to bless you and to show you that He cares! What about yesterday s shopping trip in which you found an item that you ve been looking for at a specia l discounted price? That s God placing you at the right place at the right time!

Beloved, don t just look for the spectacular to be happy and miss all the small me rcies from heaven. It s the little things that matter in life a note, a smile, a hug . Good gifts from your heavenly Father sometimes come in small packages, just li ke the manna from heaven. See in them how much He loves you, cares about the sma llest detail of your life and is thinking of your good throughout the day! ******************************************************************************** ******************************************************************************** ****** Call It Forth! God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; Romans 4:17 Pastor Prince, I feel the pain in my body. How can I go around saying that Christ has redeemed me from this sickness? How can I say that by His stripes I am heal ed? Well, God s way is to call those things that are not as though they are. And becau se you are made in God s image, you can also call those things that are not as tho ugh they are! When God wanted to make Abraham a father of many nations, what did He do? He cha nged the way Abraham talked. At that time, Abraham did not even have a single ch ild from Sarah because she was barren. So how could he become a father of many n ations? God changed the way he talked. How? By changing his name from Abram to Abraham, which means father of many nations . (Genesis 17:5) Just imagine: From then on, every time he met someone, he would say, Hi, my name is Father Of Many Nations. Every time dinner was ready, Sarah would call out to A braham, Darling Father Of Many Nations dinner is ready! Father Of Many Nations You ca n just hear their neighbors saying, They want a child so much they have gone mad! But God changed the way Abraham talked so that he called forth what God saw him already blessed with. You know, when Jesus saw the man with a withered hand, He didn t say, My goodness! It is so withered! He said, Stretch out your hand! (Matthew 12:13) He called forth what He wanted. He looked at the paralytic and said, Rise, take up your bed and g o home! (Matthew 9:6) He didn t see the way it was in the natural. He saw the way G od meant it to be and He called it forth. Genesis 1 tells us that in the beginning, there was darkness over the face of th e whole earth. God saw the darkness and He said, Light be! And light was. God call ed forth what He wanted and it became so! If it had been me or you, we would pro bably have said, Whoa! It is so dark! My friend, despite the pain, call forth your healing. It is pointless to state t he obvious. So change the way you talk. See the way God meant it to be, and star t calling forth your healing and wholeness! Thought For The Day God s way is to call those things that are not as though they are.

Luke 13:12 When you have a need, do you pray or do you plead? Do you begin your prayers wit h words like, Please God, please! God, I beg You to have mercy! Prayers that plead and beg imply that your heavenly Father is not willing to do it. Yet, He is far more gracious and willing to give to you than you are willing to ask, think or imagine. (Ephesians 3:20) He desires above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. (3 John 1:2) In fact, long before you have a need, God has already met that need. Long before you knew you needed a Savior, He sent His Son to be your Savior. This is your G od! He is a good God. So when you beg Him for something, you are actually saying that He is reluctant to give and needs to be persuaded strongly before He will move. Yet, He is not like that. Jesus knew the heart of the Father. When He saw the woman bound with a spirit of infirmity, He did not pray, Oh Father! She has been suffering for 18 long years! I beseech You, Father, have mercy on her. Please, please heal her! No, when Jesu s saw her, He immediately proclaimed, Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity, b ecause He knew the heart of the Father. He knew that the Father wanted her deliv ered from her crippling condition. At the eople. laim, and be end of a church service, I don t stand and pray, Oh God, please bless Your p Oh God, do keep them. Oh God, be ever so gracious to them! Instead, I proc The Lord bless you. The Lord keep you. The Lord make His face shine on you gracious to you!

Beloved, when you pray, proclaim your healing, protection and provision because your Father s heart overflows with love for you. And when you declare it, He sanct ions it. When you declare it, He establishes it! Thought For The Day What you declare by faith, God sanctions. ******************************************************************************** ******************************************************************************** ******* My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9 God Can When You Can t

As long as you say, I can, God cannot in your life. When you rely on your own streng th and believe that you can do it, God won t be able to help you. He won t force His help on you when you don t see the need for it. But when you turn to Him and say, I cannot, oh He can, He can! His I can will flow through your I can t. His strength is made perfect in your weakness. Beloved, when you say, I can, you are saying that you don t need saving, and the Sav ior will let you be. But when you look to Him and say, Lord, I can t kick this big, bad habit, He will say, No problem. I am a Savior who is greater than this habit. He will rush in to save you. He will empower you to overcome it.

When you look to Him and say to Him, Lord, I can t change my spouse. I can t change m y child. I m so tired. Please take over, He will say, No problem. Watch me do a deep , transforming work in their lives and in yours. He will work in you, through you and for you, and what seems impossible to you will become possible! ******************************************************************************** ******************************************************************************** ******* Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thank sgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6 Jesus Brings Real Change Ever tried to change a person you care about? What we need to realize is that pe ople are not transformed by threats or intimidation. Neither are they transforme d by nagging or wheedling. Only God can truly transform a person. My friend, what all the nagging, threatening or wheedling in the world cannot do , Jesus can. And when Jesus transforms a person, it s the real thing. It s not behav ior modification, but heart transformation from inside out! All our self-efforts to try to change a person won t work. Change that is brought about by our machinations and manipulation won t last. Maybe you have been nagging at a loved one, trying to change him or her for the better, but with no results , and you are getting frustrated, anxious and desperate. The best thing you can do is to let go and let God handle it. Stop nagging and bring the matter to God in prayer, and watch Him do a deep and perfect work in your loved one that will astound you! ******************************************************************************** ******************************************************************************** ******* For PARTENTS & KIDS ::(Grace For Parenting) If you are overwhelmed by the responsibilities of being a parent today, I want t o encourage you to believe that there is a provision and a grace for parenting. Instead of worrying and being anxious for your children, pray for them to experi ence God s wisdom, favor and protection through Jesus Christ. Before they go to bed at night, or before they leave for school, just lay hands on them and say, Because you are a Jesus-boy (or Jesus-girl), day by day, you are increasing in the wisdom of God and in favor with God and men! Jesus will cause you to be at the right place at the right time. Cast your cares for your children to the Lord. Trust Him for the provision of wi sdom to speak words of encouragement and life to them about making good decision s instead of bowing to peer pressure. As you meditate on His promises to bless, protect and equip your children for the challenges of life, know that the Lord h as equipped and provided you with the grace to be an excellent parent!
