Borders help to keep the United States separate from other countries. Our two main borders are with Canada and Mexico. We are part of several regions that have impacted our development (NATO, Alliances, etc). Our location near border has led to disputes about legal and illegal immigration.

There are two types of borders: real and The imagined. Real Undiscovered borders divide Country states and countries. Theme #4 Imagined borders divide based on Region beliefs, laws, standards and norms.
