Project details : Project : Road avoidance using ultrasonic range finder using AVR The project was developed to create a product which monitors the range (distance) between the vehicles. When some vehicle comes near to or opposite to ours vehicle, the distance between vehicles is fined and if distance between two vehicles is less than 3 meters then vehicle is stopped automatically. For finding distance we are using AVR micro controller 8515 using ultrasonic transmitter and receiver. We are going to transmit signal through ultrasonic transmitter seniors and receive signal through ultrasonic receiver seniors. with the receiving signal we will calculate distance between vehicle if distance us less then 3 meters then microcontroller generate signal to apply breaks to vehicle so automatically vehicle get stopped. The calculated distance is displayed on LCD screen. Responsibilities : Developing the application code for interfacing AMTEL AVR 8515 Microcontroller, LCD interfacing, ultrasonic transmitter and receiver seniors all the peripherals.
