Company name : Coco Cola Area of specialization:- Advertising, Public Relations & Marketing Promotions Summary on internship:- I, Rushabh Shah had done my internship in a production house KSERA SERA which also deals in the supply of projectors and digital print of movies to different cinema houses. My role in the company was to co-ordinate with my marketing executives and take a routine follow up of what they have done in order to get a client. Later I got shifted to the advertising department of the company where in I had to create new advertising concepts and even look for potential spots to place those ads. Since my day one in IIPM I have had a huge interest in subjects like marketing and advertising. They give a new perspective of thinking about the same thing. Marketing research is one of the main things that my research will be based on and we have had assignments in class like conducting a primary and secondary research, how to analyze the date that we have got through our research. Marketing research is one of the keys to identifying what the customer wants or is the customer happy with what the company is providing the customer. This helps the companies to decide what kind of marketing strategies should be used to get more and more customers. Marketing is one of the key reasons due to which many industries survive and are such big giants as they are right now. Marketing is "the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large." For business to consumer marketing, it is "the process by which companies create value for customers and build strong customer relationships, in order to capture value from customers in return". For business to business marketing it is creating value, solutions, and relationships either short term or long term with a company or brand. It generates the strategy that underlies sales techniques, business communication, and business developments.It is an integrated process through which companies build strong customer relationships and create value for their customers and for themselves. Marketing is used to identify the customer, satisfy the customer, and keep the customer. With the customer as the focus of its activities, marketing management is one of the major components of business management. Marketing evolved to meet the stasis in developing new markets caused by mature markets and overcapacities in the last 2-3 centuries. The adoption of marketing strategies requires businesses to shift their focus from production to the perceived needs and wants of their customers as the means of staying profitable. The term marketing concept holds that achieving organizational goals depends on knowing the needs and wants of target markets and delivering the desired satisfactions.[3] It proposes that in order to satisfy its organizational objectives, an organization should anticipate the needs and wants of consumers and satisfy these more effectively than competitors Coca-Cola is seen as one of the founding fathers of the modern day marketing model. They were among the pioneers of advertising techniques and styles used to capture an audience. They were also one of the first companies to offer a gimmick with their product, this being a mini yo-yo. It was around 1900 when Coca-Cola began presenting their signature drink as a delicious and refreshing formula. This slogan has been repeated for over the last 100 years selling Coke all over the world. Through its intense marketing campaigns, Coke has developed an image that is reflected in what we think of when we buy Coke and what we associate with drinking Coke. This image has been subconsciously installed in our brain by the advertising campaigns that show Coca-Cola associated with "good times." My thesis will help me study weather coco cola would have been such a big giant as it is now if it would have not marketed his products. Surviving in the industry would have been very difficult for the company.
