these Terms and Conditions: Entrant Eligibility To be eligible to enter the Best Hunt in the Worst Conditions Contest, all entrant s must be:

18 years of age or older as of the date of entry submission. Permanent legal residents of the 50 United States of America. No purchase necessary to enter or win. Employees of Sponsor, its affiliated companies, subsidiaries, dealers, sales rep resentatives, distributors, advertising agencies, promotional and prize supplier s and the immediate families and household members of each are not eligible to p articipate.

How to Enter To enter, you must send an email to epaige@wlgore.com with a photo and one p aragraph written description of the best hunting you have experienced in the wor st weather conditions. Your story must be received on or before 12:00 a.m. EDT on October 16, 2012 in order to be considered. The subject line of the email should read Best Hunt Story, and the email must include full name, date of birth, address, phone number, and best time to reach. By submitting your story and photograph via email, you are confirming that y ou have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. By entering, you warrant that the story and photo you submit (Submitted Material) are original and are your own, and that they do not infringe on the rights of an y third party. You further warrant that your participation in this Contest does not violate any agreement between you and a third party. By entering the Contest, you grant Sponsor the non-exclusive right to publish, u se, distribute, reproduce and publicly display your Submitted Material, and to c

reate derivative works from your Submitted Material, in perpetuity, in any of it s on-line, print or other media publications, materials or exhibitions, for prom otion purposes, including but not limited to for editorial, advertising, and pub licity, without payment of compensation unless prohibited by law. You grant Spon sor permission to use or provide your name, likeness and your city and state of residence, when publishing, reproducing or otherwise using your Submitted Materi al and when identifying you as an entrant or prize winner in the Contest. While Sponsor will make every effort to credit entrants when using their Submitted Mat erial, there may be circumstances where it is not possible to do so. Subject to the rights granted to Sponsor, you retain all other copyrights and rights to fut ure use of your Submitted Material. If your photograph includes a recognizable person or people other than yourself, you must secure permission from each person (or in the case of a minor, the min or's parent or guardian) to use his/her image in the Contest, and present it to Sponsor, if requested. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify an entry if it finds, in its sole discretion, that an entrant has not secured a necessary relea se. Any Submitted Material containing offensive content will not be eligible. All content must be appropriate for posting on a website that may be viewed by anyon e. Obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered , and will result in disqualification of the Submitted Material. Sponsor retain s sole discretion to determine what constitutes inappropriate content. Sponsor reserves the right to modify any photo to fit spatial and branding requi rements.

Judging Criteria Winner will be selected from all eligible entries by representatives of Sponsor (the Judges). Entries will be judged on the following criteria - creativity and ability to convince the judges that your selected location offers the best hunti ng in challenging weather. The selection of Winner will be within the discretion of the judges. The decisions of the judges are final and binding. Selection of Winning Featured Story On or about November 5, 2012, one story will be chosen from all eligible entries to be featured on GORE-TEX Hunt & Fish Gear's page on Facebook. Entries may als o be shared on The Official GORE-TEX Brand Page on Facebook. Winning story-teller will be notified on or before November 8, 2012 by e-mail an d phone. The name of the featured story teller will also be published on Faceb ook on or about November 8, 2012. Prize must be claimed within 30 days. To claim a prize, Winner must respond to the prize notification e-mail or phone call/message and may be required to provi de proof of identity, address and birth date and/or execute an affidavit of elig ibility, liability release and, except where prohibited by law, a publicity rele

ase. Prizes not claimed within 30 days will be forfeited. Sponsor will select alternate Winners for any unclaimed/forfeited prizes if a sufficient number of eligible and/or qualified entries remain. Any portion of a prize not accepted b y winner will be forfeited. If an entrant changes his/her e-mail address or ph one number after he/she enters the Contest, it is his/her sole responsibility to notify Sponsor by postal mailing notice to the address listed below to be recei ved by the October 18, 2012. Winners are solely responsible for all costs, inci dentals, and any other expenses not specifically mentioned as being included in the Prize. All federal, state and local taxes are sole responsibility of winne r. Prize may not be returned or exchanged for cash. Prize may not be transfe rred or substituted except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to award a substit ute prize of equal or greater value. Web Restrictions This Contest is not open to competition associations or automated competition en try services. Any use of such automated devices will cause disqualification. S ponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and his or her Contest entry) who tampers with the entry process. Sponsor reser ves the right to cancel or suspend this Contest should fraud, virus, bug or othe r causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or p roper play of the Contest. Sponsor is not responsible for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions or other errors, failures or d elays in computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technic al in nature. Proof of sending your entry by e-mail is not considered proof of d elivery or receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to exclude certain in dividuals from participating for reasons such as violation of the conditions of participation, attempted manipulation of the Contest or its entry processes, and reserves the right to take legal action. All entrants must have a valid email address at time of entry. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an electronic entry, th e entry will be deemed to be submitted by the "Authorized Holder" in whose name the email account is registered, provided that person meets all eligibility crit eria set forth in the Eligibility section of these Official Rules. "Authorized H older" shall mean the natural person assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresse s for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
