NEWS & NOTES


We are collecting the Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering (RMMO). This is a way
for us to say “thank you” to those who have served us in the cause of Christ. The proceeds
will be distributed in Christmas ’09 to help assist our retired servants of Christ to meet their
needs. Please use the special envelopes or notate your check accordingly.
We are thankful for the gift of new life… Onalee Fae McConnell (born Dec. 3rd to Maegan
and Shawn) and we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a little one to Brad and Amanda, due by
the end of this month. To help these families celebrate, we’ll have Baby Shower Baskets
in the back of church through February 15th.

 Stewardship Update: Thank God for your faithful giving in 2008… We had a great year of stewardship!
Here’s a financial summary through December 31, 2008 (General, Building, Deacon, Memorial and Missions):

attend this important meeting to review how God has been at work in 2008 and plan for a new
year of fruitful ministry in 2009. Please set this date aside now to join us.
2009 LOCK-IN… We’ll be going to Williamsport again on February 20-
21ST for the regional YOUTH event at the YMCA. The cost for early registration is $10
(MBC Youth) and $15 (non-MBC Youth), so please register right away! Scholarships
