FY 2012 2013 Session 1 National Association of Social Workers Section Chapter Partnership Chapter Partnership

The purpose of the Section Chapter Partnership is twofold: to provide section members and potential members with continuing education opportunities through workshops, trainings and other venues of professional development, and to market the NASWs Specialty Practice Sections program. Chapters are invited to participate in the program by offering an education or training opportunity in one of the eleven practice areas. The funds can be used to sponsor a guest speaker, pay for workshop materials and expenses, or promotional costs. The section staff is available to assist with questions as chapters develop their plans. Grants are on a first come first serve basis and encourage chapters to apply as early as possible. This year the maximum grant award is $1,000. Applicants must address at least one of the practice areas listed below or choose a topic area that in some way affects practice such as ethics.
