Quiet Revolution
What is the price and availability for a qr5?

The qr5 is currently available to UK customers and will be available in selected overseas markets in late 2010. The turbine itself costs 20,000GBP, installation and VAT are additional and vary depending on site conditions (height of mast, foundation type etc.). For an installed turbine you should assume a budget from 28,000 to 32,000 decreasing for multiple installations. Current order lead times are around six months.

How much energy will the qr5 generate in one year?

On a good wind site the qr5 will generate up to 7,500 kWh per year. This is equivalent to the electrical needs of a 10-15 man office (i.e. lights, computers, servers, printers, faxes and phones).
