WHY IS THAT INDIA,WHICH HOLDS THE PRINCIPLE SATYAM-EVAJAYANTE IS SO CORRUPT NOW IN EVERY FIELD OF LIFE?

India which is aspiring to be a super power by 2050 has many barriers on its way. Corruption stands first on the list. India being a country of great leaders is now in shortage of a leader who can lead India to new heights by eradicating corruption from its roots.Satyameva Jayathe, a divine phrase which inscribed Indias national emblem, has been really ignored by its citizens. A country which won its freedom following this motto is forgetting this motto and running after the money, they have changed the motto to Dhaname jayathe, succeed only through money. Corruption has become a part of our life. From a chills birth he it gets indirectly indulged in corruption. From getting a Childs birth certificate to his entire life he gets into the trap of corruption one way or other. Corruption had made peoples life miserable. For even making his dream house or getting a dream job an individual has to fill the pockets of these corrupt officers, who are so greedy for money. Individuals have to give their hardly earned money, who without any shame, accept this money. In India, most government officers and ministers are involved in corruption. From past few years many cases of corruption has really shocked the country. Ministers, who misused their positions for their personal benefit causing huge amount of loss to countries wealth. Cases like 2g spectrum scam, CWG, bofors etc.the list goes on, has made a huge loss to countries wealth. These people takes bribe to benefit a particular section of society, ignoring the rest, who were the individuals who let them sit on that position. 2g spectrum has only caused more than 1 lakh crore of loss to the country which is facing deficit balance. CWG which ought to be an event that could reflect Indias moral culture to the world, showed the corrupt culture of the country. One of the countries dream and a well recognized scheme worldwide, MGNREGA has also come under the shadow of corruption. Huge amount of money is being given by the government, but these are not reaching to the needed people and get gulped by the corrupt officers leading to failure of the scheme. These were the cases which have been brought forward, there are many cases which are hidden and which may bring more shocks to the nation. There are many reasons for the corruption happening all rounds. One of the most corrupt government department is the police department. They are doing favor for only those would give money. One of the reasons for this may be their less income and also persuasion from people. Many a times people, only force them to take money to get their case solved. There is always a consensus that corruption is prevailing because people are willing to pay bribe. Many industries bribe ministers to get their plan sanctioned for their personal benefit, similar was the case of 2g spectrum. Corruption is also growing due to the weak laws

against corruption prevailing in the country. The victims get only small punishments which do not have much impact on them. Once Gandhiiji said, do not demand things which belong to others. This would be a principle which if every individual in the country follow will surely have a great impact . Why, should a man should desire others earning, let him be satisfied with his earnings. Satyameva jayathe, the motto which should be their in everyones mind, to do their task in a truthful and righteous way without breaking any laws. Individuals should understand their responsibility towards the nation and their duties properly to get this practice eradicated. Such rise in corruption shows the decrease in the values of the citizens of the country.People need to really have a self actualization, to understand the insight of their actions. Its all individuals who can bring some change to this situation. Many laws have been implemented and are going to be implemented, laws do not guarantee proper solution to this problem as this law maker are themselves involve in this corrupt practices. Many times people get confused whom to complaint on such corruption issues. Independent agencies like CBI and CAG have gained momentum in the recent times and investigated many corruption cases. Media can play a major role in combating corruption. Every individual should maintain the dignity of Indias tradition and try to ethical to have a proper development in all fields of the country.
