Earlier, Netanyahu criticised the US for not being tough enough on Iran over its nuclear program. Iran maintains t hat its nuclear program is legitimate and is for civilian purposes. The announcement came after Netanyahu made remarks condemning other countries fo r failing to draw up "red lines" over Iran. "The world tells Israel: wait, there 's still time. And I say: wait for what? Wait until when?" he told a news confer ence on Tuesday in Jerusalem with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov. "Those in the international community who refuse to put red lines before Iran don't ha ve a moral right to place a red light before Israel," he added. Netanyahu has described Iran as "the greatest threat to world peace", and the ra tcheting up of his rhetoric is prompting speculation over the possibility of con flict between the two countries. Israel's Haaretz newspaper described the prime minister's comments as "an unprecedented verbal attack on the US government". Of late, however, he refrained from such remarks and even said Israel would not a
