September 3rd, 2012 Someone once described the difference between sentiment and sentimentality as this, when you

avoid killing somebodys pet on the avenue thats sentiment, but if you swerve to avoid the pet and that causes you to kill pedestrians on the sideway, thats sentimentality.

I cant remember when it was (the ticking clock is spinning faster) that I decided to take on the task of explaining the sometimes technically incomprehensible gibberish to the more often than not, an indifferent majority of the population, no matter, really I sometimes struggle with the interpretation as I stumble along. I did learn one thing, if I treat each observer of my ramblings as being incomprehensible, my task is made simpler giving me a certain edge, forcing for lack of a better description a finite distance between the subject and them in fact between the subject and myself. Take for instance the fact that experimentation with Deinococcus radiodurans has demonstrated it could be used as an information storage mechanism strong enough to survive a nuclear catastrophe, any attempt to walk through the process, no matter how well I translated it youd more than likely be asleep or at least drifting off before I finished the first paragraph so why bother.

But if I happened to obtain a Mayan text that detailed the mating of two dinosaurs during the collision of that huge piece of rock into the Yucatan Peninsula, youd sit up and suck it all in like a dry sponge falling into a bucket of water its called excitement priorities, or our need to learn about the preferences we have even during a crisis, sort of like when a mate comes home and finds their sacred mating room occupied by a stranger and their spouse so to speak. Unfortunately the US population is now subject to an extreme feeding frenzy due to our upcoming Presidential election, while some have what is known as empathy for the participants, we have learned during the past decades that empathy for a politician isnt too much in vogue while others point out that maybe it should be. We seemed to be able to choose our destiny, while they (the politicians) have somewhere along the line got caught up in their greatness, thereby eliminating the option to choose marching in lockstep with their position. Albeit they are, in some respects, like the voters of the nation, to label them that say, no matter how many times they tell us they are ordinary folks like you and I, they are so far out-of-step with everyday life it is pathetic. Some maintain they are so far a field they have become isolated from the walk that all of us take to survive, becoming a human with a built-in set of, what we could consider deformities. Their survival strategy consists of things that you and I would never consider, where the closest we might come to their level is the southern bred bully-pulpit Bible maniacs we skim by when searching for a Saturday or Sunday football game on our televisions, people who would eat their young if it would convince you that their way was the right way, and swell their collection plates harsh, well a little bit, but you get my drift. We all have experienced a fast talker once or twice, fast talkers with no conscience, playing with words like a baby with wooden alphabet blocks, unaware of their lack of emotions, or the phrases they spout that are jam packed with self-contradiction and half-bake truths or out and out lies. humanity at worse. It can be said that parts of our society today could be divided into three dysfunctional tribes, with a fourth on the outside: It makes one wonder if weve been set upon by someone outside of our basic

1) the Optimists, whose patron saints are the dollar and the Federal Reserve
(along with all the trappings associated) that believe the Universe is stuffed with gentle intelligent-spiritual corporations (now classified a being a person) and that these persons are more enlightened than we, a mass of humanity that dream of someday entering into this select crowd of the well-off. The standing members of this elite bunch maintain that their firm grasp on the medium we call money requires their control over it, if not a great destructive force will soon overwhelm the society in general, whereas they say that if the masses suddenly rise above this glass barrier, they will destroy the economy of the world.

2) The Pessimists, those who genuflect before what they perceive a Universe
full of the undead inhabitants and a host of heavy-duty entities full of grace, they point to those in power as the mainstays of our existence although they admit from time-to-time that there are some of us lowly entities stumbling around in their reality. They embrace religious mania like a man in the middle of a wide sea clinging to a piece of wood, in abandoning reason they fall back on the reality that the Universe is over 14 billion years old (or so), yet they assume that the white race is the only one that counts strange.

3) The Historians, a tribe that hangs its hat on the idea of not showing any
progression due to any rising intelligence they stomp their feet and wring their hands if someone peaks beyond the door of maybe and attempts to advance. Their mantra being what was good for me is good for my children, within this crowd we find a select few that cry and moan about regulations or laws that by chance were passed in their noted history that shouldnt have passed the test of being legitimate. So be it. These mentioned tribes, seem to have a group of people within them who shun the idea of intellectual growth, all three hanging their hat on nonprogressive advancement, this is where the dreaded liberal tribe surfaces the tribe hoisting the banner of change high above their heads a 4th tribe, so-to-speak, that demands a shift away from the muck the other three enjoy to a degree that only they can comprehend. In todays political arena we see the three doing battle with the 4th, whereas the three ask the fourth, where is that

change you were talking about?

While behind closed doors the proposed

change, in some situations, was blocked by the three and now the public (who by now is accustomed to the day after pill), expects an immediate solution to our predicament that has grown over the past two or three decades. You would think that there must be someone in the gang of three that being too conservative opens the door to abject surprises, leaving the gang of three unprepared youd think! Naturally the status of our down in the dumps economy, we find a situation that grew out of control due to many reasons, of which one was the manipulations mortgages by the huge financial houses, another the transfer of the operations of many corporations to a cheaper labor market, and adding to this the consummation of two warsnone of which can be corrected with any morning after pill. Unsolvable with a quick fix, there are more than a few that expected the fix to be put in-place but a few short hours after Obama was sworn inin this his opposition now tells us that he (Mitt) will repeal a new law, (which he cant do), increase employment by millions of jobs by reducing regulations opening the land to more crude oil exploration and other forms of operations that run afoul of regulations like coal mines, and to rubber stamp any action or project that allows massive unregulated crude oil pipelines to criss-cross the United States, these pipelines in particular transporting the Black Gold mined from the tar sands of Canada and transported to the oil processing centers in Texas, processed and then sent to the highest bidder, which will do little to reduce our dependence on Foreign Oil will it, I thought Canada was another country? I agree that in many instances we are overloaded with regulations, yet in the same breath I realize that throughout our history that our advancement sometimes involves the grinding of some of our society under the boots of greater technologies, for instance robots on an automobile production line, or a Bill Gates spreadsheet that does most everything including brewing your morning coffee almost - if its function was tied to an analog device that turned on the power. In the Good Book it is noted in Samuel Chapter 1, verses 10-6, The Lord will take control of you. You will dance and shout and become a different person. Now substitute money for Lord and everything become clear

where it is becoming common knowledge that it is money that we worship through and through no arguments or debate necessary. What we are witnessing is just part and partial to our human history, and this major tool in our history has morphed from a simple club to a complex system that leaves collateral damage by the road side as it marches down the avenue this tool in various forms has been misused in more ways than any weapon we have invented. It not only tramples common sense, it laughs at any attempt to bring it under some sort of regulation, it breeds corruption as it rolls along creating greed that we are experiencing like never before it lays in vaults across the world, sometimes slipping out to create additional situations that produce results that scares the guy in-the-street its value is based on certain natural resources such as oil, rare earth minerals, or in its use to buy a politician here and there youre searching for a WMD, look in your pocketbook to see that tool with In God We Trust printed on its face. There are some who use this manner of barter to a good end, but to believe that it has become a symbol of goodness is crazy, check out the too many to count incidents around the world that speak to the flip side of goodness tell yourself repeatedly that the pictures of populations fighting its influence are not you, they cant be they are thousands of miles from your humble abode. Tell yourself that the snaps of children with blood streaming across their faces are actually living on the moon or somewhere else that doesnt impact your evening meal, while youre at it see if you can spot your neighbors son or daughter with a rifle or some other manner of weapon, who is fighting for access to the oil in that country for a corporation who will eventually make more money in one-day than the Federal Reserve can print, tell yourself this and sleep well tonight. Mankind along with fighting nature has incorporated into his lifestyle the process of using nature at an accelerating rate, how can it do otherwise, it is getting harder and harder to provide for our exploding population, and if we cant access it or exploit it we destroy it we treat nature as an enemy, we naturally rebel against the way things were, where we invent stuff that goes against the natural harmony found in nature. If were caught in our destructive manner we deny it, we spend copious amounts of money in attempting to prove that those who have stated what were doing is causing harm, as being

goofy or even worse labeling them as against progresskeeping in mind that progress in this instance is the swelling of the bottom line. We have landed another machine on Mars, I wonder if we really have taken a first step in what we believe is conquering the Universe, what a goofy question, we havent achieved any control over ourselvesnot that I against the space program, as it is mans nature to explore landing on strange shores and planting his flag of ownership trouble is until our exploration reveals a cheap method to haul back some of those rare minerals on another body in our solar system, well continue to stick stuff in the ground and take a few snaps. It is a start and sooner than we think man will be leaving his footprints on a strange land in hopes of making a buck here or two in his quest for greatness. This is just the nature of man. Columbus didnt make a mistake, just as he didnt cross the ocean blue to shake hands with a few inhabitants on its other side his goal from the get-go was to accumulate gold. Over the past few 1000s of years we learn that humanity had a lot of branches, in fact it wasnt too long ago that some of us stepping off of 5th Avenue discovered a few isolated tribes that were still stumbling along with stone tools, along with some who still lived within the boundaries of nature, hunters and gatherers if you must apply a labelyes they didnt enjoy the conveniences that some of us had, but they survived albeit not in the fashion that most of us were used tohence we dropped in on them and struggled with them in order to drag them kicking and screaming into our modern world. Their price was steep; give us your land so we can chop down some of your forest, construct huge dams to create power so we can operate our big machines to process nature faster and more efficiently. We were creative to such a point that any of the original tribes remaining, now live in wood houses with tin roofs suffering untold hardship and a shorter lifespan, and instead of mostly peaceful life, suffer with their attempts to adapt to the face paced world weve thrown on them and were the ones who are civilized? Our combined history demonstrates that our modern civilization will never give up this march to overwhelm nature, or its less developed tribes most of us believe deep down that the future being painted by some of our leaders is not only wonderful but a solution to all. The battle towards this goal is endless, we utilize our developing technology, some of which does more than just push

aside the uneducated, but strip them of everything we used to consider as humanity. At the end of the day leaving those who have created sharper tools and crossly stronger empires, whereas any threat to their progressive environment is seen as a minor disturbance that can be overcome with additional advanced technology or more money. Ultimately their only enemy being one having a bit more intelligence than them, and if by some chance better toys ended up in the others hands, it is only to stall and spout words of peace until they had developed a like toy or one or two better, than war becomes the result and the words of peace and lets get along flew out the window. Money is like that, it creates what is known as intentional blindness, where the eye doesnt accept the clouds of deceit on the horizon, and if by some chance it sees them refuses to accept them for what they are, while the body snakes in the money temporarily produced from the peace loving entity. How long do we stare at the cloud, how long do we recycle and massage its edges while we push and manipulate the obvious data, clinging onto our persistent denial of the eventual outcome in other words how much time is needed for us to realize that the world we inhabit is but a fading dream and that we are truly blind money does that. Under the umbrella of money there is no one that can be swayed by an argument, its crisp sound as you snap it with your fingers like some alien artifact is compared to a age old shaman dancing around a campfire your hooked, you take a stroll ignoring reality as just so much stuff. Logic means nothing to you, an 18-wheeler pushing the upper limits of its speed bearing down on you is someone elses problem greed has won you over and the rest of the world can just take a flying leap. War! By now youd think that we know that is not a polite exercise, youd think? Some of us realize that avoiding warfare is a matter of intelligence, where a strong consensus guided by intelligence will usually find an avenue around war in this it all boils down to intelligence and more intelligence, without it, warfare will often occur mostly because of an accident of circumstances set loose as a product of the lack of intelligence. Most of us realize that there is nor can there be any honorable code that dictates any softness between the combatants, the only action resembling any honor is

what is found in an armies chain of command, or in someone guiding the circling of the wagonsother than that after the smoke clears do we (in some cases) deal with the (polite word coming up) indiscretions that surface, we might punish the guilty (for appearance only), yet if we do those in command make sure the doors are shut so that the enemy (or the public) does not see the discord within the ranks, the goal being to maintain unity and resolve in the orders from above murders and rapists, you bet this is War and not some Sunday picnic social death, rape, and pillaging are encouraged takes the edge of the purpose of War to kill, conquer and obtain. When the conflict finally draws to an end, we assemble the survivors and bring them back to a different world, one where it is not normal to scurry from doorstep to window with a weapon balanced in their arms, or a device that will kill or injure others when it is detonated they who return have been acclimated to death they have lived it 24/7 for maybe over two-years they come home with backpacks full of the ghosts of their friends, along with visions that you and I can only imagine and poorly at that we havent got a clue. We do know that War leaves a residue of eat drink and be merry that will often spiral down into a moral breakdown, in that every veteran will return with a bit of the thought that it must have been Gods will or purpose, along with a barely submerged bitterness, poised to take the violent avenue caused by the stresses of war. We assign names to their mental state, fancy names, names that struggle to identify their nightmares dreams that haunt them when they walk down main street, and horrify them when they sleep and when they go tilt we shake our heads and wonder what in the hell happened war is hell some say, if they only knew. I think it was Einstein who said, You cannot prevent and prepare for war at the same time. Man is a strange animal when it comes to hitting his knees, and raising his eyes to the heaven above praying for Gods mercy, goodness and protection before he marches off to do bodily harm to another human being why he believes that God is on his side, and not that other creature of Gods handiwork is a riddle, to me at least. Although there might be some of you that firmly believe that God is protecting you and yours based on the contribution to the collection plate just wondering?

Today we find ourselves in a process of technical evolution, whereas if an individual or his/her tribe lags in the process they loose, there are those who tell us it is vital to stay current, and if necessary reconfigure your skills to fit into the work place, if not you become obsolete in less time than can be imagined, or as compared to the evolution period before the world morphed into digital domain around us. It was during our 42nd Presidents time at the wheel when we experienced the dot.com boom, fortunes bloomed like dandelions after a spring rain, algorithms were born that enhanced the robotic machines on assembly lines, warehouses, banks, etc., etc., and the world changed. 1000s became obsolete over the next few years, some overnight, a radical transformation to be sure a small opening of a door peering into the future was pried open, and those who paid little attention to the snapshot fell through the cracks beneath them, like a logger in the PNW when the spotted owl flew across our TVs. I now drag you back into the recent history of the Americas when the sons of Abraham jumped the ocean blue onto our shores they bumped into a race of people that when they spoke the sons of Abraham had no idea what they were saying, therefore being of a somewhat intelligent nature classified the inhabitants as animals, not only that they were a sub-standard version of the animals they had trained before. Some of these invaders took the time to develop a system of understanding, yet the majority were bent on destroying those who just happened to be in the land that the sons of Abraham had discovered, and not to beat a fact to a pulp the rest is history. Today we find ourselves in a similar situation, if for some reason you fail to understand the technology weaving in and out of your existence, youre out of the loop and gainful employment is but a dream. There are some of us dinosaurs that bring some management skills to the table, this is if you have earned a certificate that informs the world that you know how to manipulate your fellow man through a specific task forget your previous skills as straw boss, they no longer apply, thank you very much! It is funny or maybe not, but in this age of innovation we have structured our existence to apply patterns, patterns developed by digital geniuses that in most cases never have stepped outside the reality of life, engrossed in their manipulation of zeros and ones like horse flies on a slab of dead fish. Darwin

told us that it takes the spark from a gene to began life, where the following process is pure mechanics as digits and vertebrae assemble as they bump into each other, replicate and produce some artifact we label life today that gene happens to be our mode of barter money, and/or the search for it. It is not that it is an awful gene yet it has a genuine need to accumulate in the weirdest places, obviously not in most of our pockets, oh we get a tickle here and there, some with sufficient amounts to survive quite well, while others haunt the hallways of poverty. To this end nothing changes, the person who steps out of the mainstream and plunges into the cold river of progress with a wild idea or two and manages to make it to the other bank of the river is considered a innovator who will soon accumulate copious amounts of wealth not without a little helping hand though, the stream is fast and deeper than it was lets say a hundred years ago, along with being packed with more people struggling against the flow finding the rope of help is getting harder, albeit is still there. As a society we are being programmed that truth doesnt matter, we are learning to live in a world of self-deception, a world that promotes fitness at any cost, we march towards a solution that will make our journey seem comfortable, in doing this some of us buy into the talking heads on our screens that spout lies like a fire hose at a ten-alarm fire. We wallow around in the stream while the words wash around us with the express purpose of accepting our way of life as truth if someone else reminds us that maybe what is being said is not true, we scream and yell back that our truth is not theirs we forget that our brains are survival engines, not truth detectors, consequently the world we perceive doesnt really exist this is natural you know, nothing to be ashamed of after all your world is constructed based on assumptions, created by a series of simulations and past experiences, by the time you realize most of this, it has changed, progress at its best. I believe it was Aldous Huxley who said, Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you mad. Part of our existence in this world is our obscene need to withdraw from the world around us, whereas even though our body continues to burn fuel were not producing, were in the world of dreams, some with high-flying clouds, others with nightmares that make Nightmare on Elm Street look like Alice and the Rabbit we spend approximately 1/3 of our life sleeping. If you retire

at age 65 that translates into you sleeping some 17,620 hours just imagine what you could accomplish if you didnt have to drift into the world of sleep every 15-16 hours or so, whoa! Unfortunately were not built that way and if we dont sleep a certain amount of hours every week we become what is known as the walking dead, or worse. Sleep is the brains way of relaxing, its strange that even though we strive to obtain our goals when were awake driving ourselves in our quest for knowledge, some pawing and stuffing theorems, scientific fact and various technological stuff into their grey matter, more often than not run into a brick wall, their conscious mind doing flip-flops as they attempt to understand the complex ideas swirling around in their mind. We know for a fact that the basic rule of understanding that wall is to stop thinking about the problem, occupy your mind elsewhere take a walk, ride a bike, or sleep. In this process the solution will usually come to you, our subconscious is an independent part of our life. Think about a concert pianist do they think about each finger and what it is doing when theyre pounding out the Flight of the Bumble Bee, and can you after driving a vehicle recollect all the stops and turns and roads you traveled from point A to point B, not really just as a dancer or acrobat knows enough to let the mind run with their training in any performance, in other words let the body run. Your body working with that part of your grey matter performs after months of deliberate practice creating almost an unconscious task and bingo at the end of that task you experience a Eureka moment, those months you studied, sweating over this or that comes pouring out of your existence with greater ease than you applied magic? Not really when in reality you can compare it to sleepwalking think, for thousands of years our human software has been learning, information passed on through our ancestors genes, some good, some not so good, what you take for granted happens on a scale that would scare you if you stopped and thought about it, such as me sitting here pounding on the keys on my laptop. I have been typing for most of my adult life, first learning on a Royal Typewriter in High School way back when, moving away from my learned skill for many years, and then picking it up again back in the late 80s and early 90s just as if I had just graduated from typing class in High School granted Im not as fast as I used

to be, whereas Ive topped out at 90-100 WPM with maybe 1 or 2 mistakes but I aint badstill using the touch system with two hands. In all of this I perform no conscious effort when pounding on the keys, my mind is focused on the subject matter, this being my reality tapping the keys is just part of the process, the part that is a learned skill that does not take any conscious effort to tell what keys to tap, in other words my fingers maybe an extension of the process but I dont tell each finger to move, they just do. As age peers around the corner the system slows down, taking a few microseconds longer to process a movement, where in a spilt microsecond it might mull things over, make a decision on how to complete it or not, but when a flash of input runs across your senses screaming danger, the process is turned over to the brain stem, where it sees the danger, hijacking the body reacting a hundred times faster that that dumpy old man sitting between your ears. Yet as we evolve this flight or fight process is slowing down, for good reason one being we no longer worry about a lion in a bush, or a 250 foot Sitka spruce falling on us, our neurology is changing along with our decaying body. No matter your age or position in our society there has to have been one time at least when you examined the idea of consciousness, why it most certainly exists in the minds of the people who do such things for a living, and it more than likely doesnt exist in the sex-driven mind of a 15-year-old male, the question we sometimes examine is are we nothing more than sparking chemistry, a fleshy magnet in the ether, am I more than just a pair of eyes, ears, or a wagging tongue you would think so yet we persist, who am I? Was it Thoreau who said, Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves? There are some who count on our memory span being less than it used to be, politicians mostly, in all fairness it is really not your fault if you cant remember in detail what happened yesterday whereas in todays world of information overload, our grey matter would morph into so much sludge if it assimilated all the stuff. In this we rely on a piece of paper, a digital storage device or some other device or media to refresh the facts this same information overload has made todays news into yesterdays history almost as fast as it is issued. Numbers are big losers, they become a dim shadow in your consciousness, a memory that dances around like a drunk at a New Years Eve

party sometimes falling on the floor and maybe losing part of its value. Talking heads on your device spout values that mean less to you than how the head styles its presentation and how they comb their hair, they count on this, when someone is able to do a fast check contradicting the information they are labeled idiots dont worry the information was meant to make you feel good, and if those idiots claim otherwise they strip that temporary high you enjoyed when the talking head lied to you any normal person would feel putout if someone popped their bubble. Lazy citizens normally do not use the energy or processing power needed to determine what is true and what is not, they line up at the trough of information and take in whatever is pushed that day they then walk away calling their exercise a job-well-done. Yet they have the power necessary to pass on the half-truths or out-and-out cow manure being spread across the landscapeit has been this way for more years than we can remember I chuckle. It is sad that some travel between the stars enjoying their status of lacking any self awareness, wrapped in their cloak of ignorance. If they do anything in a debate it is usually to deflect the purpose of the conversation away from the item behind the debate by changing the subject to another, this to is a natural action if dont understand quantum mechanics why debate it, switch to something like an imaginary subject like gun control. Through all this remember that If the human brain were so simple that we could understand it, we would be so simple that we couldnt in other words it is the complexity of our brain that prompts the imagination in the first place. As we walk through life we find that making workable choices are more often made after we have pawed through a bucket full of mistakes, in this we learn that true intelligence accepts fallibility, whereas absolute infallible choice are nonexistent, where intelligence takes chances with limited data in some areas where mistakes are not only possible but also necessary. Our brains are at best a storage place for some fuzzy memories, consider that no matter how clearly you remember a particular event in all likelihood your grey matter has constructed a composite, inserting details after the fact. This is not to say your memories are not true, they are an honest reflection of what you witnessed, and what you might have been thinking when you made the observation of heard the sound keep in mind this

memory is not a photograph nor is the audio something recorded on a multimillion dollar device, the composite is more like an impressionist painting or an old scratching recording being played back on a RCA Victor phonograph. At best your memories are what we could label a functional cluster, bit and pieces accumulated as micro-currents ran across you brain scribing little slots in your grey matter, that is the way it worksrandom zig-zag lines which when recalled your conscious thinking does its best to reassemble. If possible remember that as your life progresses you accumulate truck loads of small observations some that trickle forth into your consciousness, most sit in your subconscious where words just bounce off. These subconscious observations make language unnecessary they become your basis in being able to view the world around you, to tell a lie from the truth, to live. Our race today, needless to state, is a rational one, we reject unpalatable truths, and if we cant reject them outright, we trivialize them. Bits and pieces of evidence is nothing to some of us, whereas we hear rumors of a Holocaust, we dismiss them we dont? How about Rwanda it took a Hollywood movie splashing the horrible facts across the screen to make some of us realize it had happened. We have seen or read about genocide, some of us say it couldnt have been that bad, world temperature is rising, the Arctic Ice covers less area today, and glaciers are melting, species across the globe are dying out albeit there are facts that support these wild assertions we blame sunspots and volcanoes. As a race we treat these conditions as pure mathematics, some cheat and bump the numbers one way or the other, while most of us just reject the data from either direction, myself I agree that our world is changing and that were in an intermediate climate change the Ice Age is finally drawing to a close. What covered our Northern Hemisphere for 1000s of years is going away, knowing this I believe that it is almost a certainty that ocean currents will change, and somewhere in our future the Ice will comeback and crawl down or up from the poles and well once again be covered with Ice. We treat this maybe cycle as we treat most things, whereas we know that we cannot let the truth trickle in and around our lives, it wont be able to plow through are lives until were inundated with the facts, and then like one said, Genocide is impossible to deny when one is buried up to their necks with dismembered bodies!

I enjoy my study of our planets history yet sometimes I feel Im in the minority, so many of us believe that history is to be read, and smiled at as some fairy tale from long ago, whereas history is a record of events that are noted to prevent repeating some its punishing facts in this it is true that those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. In this crowd that skims the historical record we find those that seek security and quiet, what we call peace yet as they sit on their lofty chairs they create and plant the seeds of turmoil and violence, were a strange breed. It is very difficult for me to wrap my thoughts around the concept that parts of our society has become anesthetized to War and its brutality, think if you can of the innocence you had in your childhood, lets assume up until you reached the age of majority. Remember the times when your greatest fear was the simple acceptance of your peers, and the times you performed ridiculous acts to obtain their attention, yet you and they survived. Although time has changed that innocent era, in some fashion or the other many of us still run our lives on the same simple concept, albeit our actions have grown up so-to-speak, they still demand in our lives someone paying attention. From our experience gained during those days of innocence some of us learned that there are circumstances where viciousness can blunt viciousness, whereas it is hoped we also learned that we must consider our decision to employ a like act very carefully. Too many to count statesmen, scholars and whatnot have studied the corner our leaders slammed Germany into after the 1st World War they know that the delayed reaction to essentially putting Germany in jail was the 2nd World War and when you couple this with how our society pulled the curtain on Japan in its quest to survive, they attacked China and other countries in their hemisphere leading to the climax at Pearl Harbor. The Germans were starving while the Japanese were trying to compete in a growing economic world, providing jobs for their increasing population. We now realize from our study of history that it is fruitless to fully comprehend unless we know how various leaders moved within their society, some leaders are helpless to the pushing lieutenants under their leadership, while other leaders rise above the masses and take complete control of the society around themtwo different circumstances with the same outcome War!

Most leaders realize that an idle society breeds not only fear but massive amounts of curiosity, let the masses remain static too long and they will rebel. In this we find the axiom that hard work dulls curiosity to be true, the other option left for the leaders is to rip the desire to learn away from those sitting idle within their environment, in other words keep them in the dark and feed copious amount of bull manure. Unfortunately many of those unemployed through many diverse means can access the information vehicle, the Internet. In doing so this information path, originally developed by the brains behind WAR has morphed into a complex infrastructure that is found in all corners of our world this is good, if you believe some of the information that floats through it 24/7/365, if nothing else it exposes some the BS that gets shoveled at you and yours. Some of you must realize that the saying that, You cannot manipulate a marionette with only one string, plays into our present position. The goal of our powerful corporate leaders is one thing, to increase their profits, and that any attempt to label it as something other is just but a smokescreen think of any socialistic or communistic society that didnt break apart because of profits, to maintain that capitalism doesnt work is a fools dream yet in the same breath for the corporate leaders that try and break down the society that feeds their bottom line is a goal that is just as ridiculous without those earned dollars trickling into the cash registers will lead to the downfall of the corporate complex. The rich never really retire, oh from time-to-time they retire to their hideaways and frolic with their beautiful lovers, wallow amongst their servants, enjoy their elaborate quarters, unrestricted travel, and enjoy the fantails on their expensive yachts. Yet outside of this opulent lifestyle they soon get bored, and then dream of ways to employ their wealth to increase the bottom line in this they may have to change their previous methods, but unlike you and I, they have the cushion of luxury to take their time and plan with great detail more often than not plucking a politician here and there to grease the path to their next plan. All of us are shaped and structured by pressure, some of it internal and some outside of our physical existence it is life some pressures we pull inside and twist and turn, creating our own secrets, yet in this we all know that

if we restrict ourselves to just observing the life around us we will miss or reject the point of our own existence. In this most of us live the best life we can, realizing that life contains a set of rules we all must learn in order to play it to the hilt, if not youre caught off-balance your existence continually surprised by the shifting play. Those who chose not to play complain that luck or life is passing them by refusing to see that they can create some of their own luck. We find ourselves being part of the earths population, wanting only to live out our lives in peace, accepting from time-to-time our leaders guidance, of which we sometimes reject their suggestions or direction and search helter-skelter for another leader who tells us what we want to hear. In democracy the populous believes they govern themselves to the best of their ability, and when faced with an unknown look for a leader that can guide them through the maze of their uncertainty when he or she jumps off what the populous believes is the track, a different leader is chosen. It is the way of democracy true and true. Today we see that our tightly bound trading network is collapsing around us, oh we find here and there some bits and pieces held together by some, and there are others who treat this patched together network with contempt, longing for the good old days. History teaches us that all governments suffer a recurring problem, that power attracts pathological personalities. It is not that power corrupts but that it is the magnet to the corruptible, keep in mind that corruption wear infinite disguises, each one capable of sucking in the uninformed. In this we find every once in a while those that become addicted to violence, some to such a point they stagger around like a drunk hopelessly graving another drink, in their case more violence. Violence takes on many different faces, it can be physical, or it can be the manipulation of the circumstance surrounding them controlling or withholding the effective operation of the governmentfor whatever reason. Behind this curtain of violence you will find an individual who may have experienced a disturbing childhood, or one that was exposed on a battlefield, or a shutout of a corporate hierarchy, the reasons are many just as they are as diverse as you can imagine. Natural selection says it is the victors who breed, you disagree? You ever watch a program on National Geographic and see two male lions competing to

mate with a female in heat, does the stronger walk away and let the looser mate, even if he did walk away the chances that the female would mate with the loser are slim and none. In this we also find that the history of all battles great of small is composed by the victor, they write the record embellishing their victory while raping the population and taking their treasurers it is just how things are done. Our historians tell us that the necessities of the period dictated the results brought about the evil actions of the victors, in this there are too many of us that can view our clans history as being lily white where some of our ancestors have committed atrocities against their fellow man which would warp the sanity in the hardest man. So, it is hopeless to make excuses about the necessities of time, in other words he who hast never done a wicked deed, cast the first stone. To make the point there are no innocents. Reflect, most history is a recording of the process of diversion, where the accounts distract attention from the events behind the curtain that drove the recorded events, great or small. Society today has bred an upscale politician, not that they werent upscale during their past, but today preachers on the mount seem to tolerate gross but non-threatening behavior in others, some of which they would not accept in themselves they preach that their standards are higher maintaining that they have a gift of seeing ourselves as others see us. Some of their followers realize, in their beliefs that only God can see the ultimate self, in this they accept that their projected leaders might a little too big on themselves but what the heck they are doing no harm to their personal space yet! The politicians on their mounds of greatness tell us they spin no casual lies, in fact they say that truth serves them better, which should make some of us pause and reflect on some of their utterances. It seems to me that they hold a cynical view of the truth, causing one to ask whose truth? Modified in what way? In what context? The technocrats of earth might hesitate to irritate the politicians, I say might, but it is for sure they are more than careful not to arouse the ire of the wealthy, where they participate in slipping behind the curtain of silence bending to the demands of these select few as they trade the lives of those around them for a piece of the action, however small it may be or to what end in their career. If there is a deviation from the norm it is has limits

that are very tight and well controlled, thereby making the chances of bringing down those perched on their wealth very slim or not at all. It is very important to think of this minority (the 1%) that perform on a daily basis as a minority cloaked in the mask of the majority, they will be the ones who cause the downfall of democracy, overthrown by its own excesses or flushed away under the oppression of their installed bureaucracy. Eventually they will create a Civil Service Law that will be masked in the lie that it was the only way to correct the naturally occurring demographic numbers within the population, thereby ripping the care that is supposed to be part of our nations blanket providing for those who have aged, today we see part of this oncoming law in the requirements being hoisted on those requiring new methods of identification to cast a ballot. Then slowly well see other regulations that limit the vote of others, as their power base grows the electorate will find themselves hamstrung and out of touch finally an aristocracy is in place that will be hard to remove. It is these very same politicians who will deny until they can no longer breathe that it is they who build up pressures in the society they influence, with the express purpose of directing those pressures. It must be remembered and spoke over and over again, bureaucracy elevates conformity or in other word elevates fatal stupidity to the status of religion whereas science is innovative and promotes change, this is the reason that science and bureaucracy fight a constant war. We also know that education is no substitute for intelligence, this we find in some of our politicians some highly bred, born from intelligent individuals, we find that somewhere in the process the intelligence gene got sidetracked, to be replaced with a gene that has produced a marble mouth held together and manipulated by others no more, no less. Critical, yes, but still a fact. Yet we find obedient followers yearning for the good old days only whistling past the graveyard in their belief that this non-original politician will be able to adapt to the world around them without the guidance of some wealthy combine pulling their strings. Flash back, education cannot replace intelligence, only enhance it. Rote bureaucratic educational institutions seemed to work overtime suppressing a childs sensitivity, granted not in all cases, whereas from time-to-time an excellent teacher will interrupt the process replacing the lessons established

by a committee and let the child learnthis teacher is one of a few who doesnt feel threatened by emerging talents, and works with the child developing their education. Home-schooling is believed by a portion of our population the answer to this, yet one cannot help but feel that the young developing mind runs the risk of being roped into the learned experiences and guided protocol of the parents, being deprived on the multitude of various teachers and their opinions, good, bad or indifferent. The object of education is to prepare the developing mind for the challenges it will face once it leaves the sacred halls, their first 12 or so years being the most important of their life. In failing this 12-year period, by failing I mean not being capable of balancing their learned skills with their born intellect they might be made to feel small and stupid and maybe open them to corruption as a way of life, or worse yet, become an individual that is incapable of making a decision based on their own consul in other words, lets just leave it all up to the decision that the infamous George makes. Power-hungry societies like the George position, they like that their subjects will diddle around and let their leadership make their decisions whereas the population practices avoidance to a high degree hence the term sheep. At the end of the day a once productive democracy will collapse, and those laws passed by those in power will strengthen what a normal society would have prohibited check it out, youll find that this happens on a daily basis whereby the members of our legal profession make copious amounts of greenbacks either defending or fighting the laws that rip away the rights and the security of the citizenship. Religion plays an important yet sometimes distant part of our society some take the time to examine its purpose whereas we understand that most of it is composed of mythologies coupled with hidden assumptions of trust in the Universe to those holding blind faith as their rod, put their trust in Godwhile some believing in God follow the path that says, God helps those who help themselves. And then who worship those Bible Belt preachers preach that it is Satans way to question, pushing aside human imagination as his work, once again whistling as they stroll past the graveyard trusting in the Lord to keep Satan at bay at least until they make it to the latest sermon rumbling out of the lips of the preachers that you are doomed to brimstone and fire, that is unless

you make a healthy contribution to their continued existence, then God is on your side and the world is rosy. It is the task of any good historian to recreate an experience that details our history, where they walk their student(s) through a chain of consequences teaching the student(s) to look backward as they move through the past seeing the broad sweep of social behavior lying beside the road they just traveled. Good teachers stress, when examining a situation or thing, know its limits, push it beyond its tolerances, than and only then will you understand its true nature, and above all do not depend on only theory if much is at stake. Think process, apply this theory and that one joined with your gut feeling the concept is more than a theory it is the substance of life. Good teachers pound into your thought process that logic moves blindly, and when it comes a time that it is logic guiding you, you get kicked out of its comforting nest into chaos this again is life. Good teachers tell us that ready comprehension is often a knee-jerk response and the most dangerous form of understanding, it instills an opaque screen over your ability to learn, in other words Understand Nothing, keep in mind that what was true yesterday could be false today. Remember your civics classes in High School, recall if you can when at any one time the teacher discussed Democracy, did they teach you that in a true democracy that facts are fragile, and that most politicians refuse to get bound up by them, and that too much data can confuse even the most rational mind, and that it is necessary to employ a few good lies to achieve their rise to power. We label this function as good diplomacy, which brings all of us back to the axiom that in democracy where it is natural to distrust anyone with power over you. Just as it is natural for a good teacher to let you make you own mistakes, where they consider that if history shows us it is a mistake, the only way youll learn the pitfalls of life is to stumble from time-to-time, maybe skinning your knees maybe! In this they teach you to face your fears, whereas the most terrifying things in the Universe are born and natured in the mind and its with this that you and you alone must face those manufactured fears within your mind. Dont understand this too much, we know that there are some bad people doing a walk-about on our world, people that are always looking for extremes, where some of them demand their daily offering of blood creating chaos and

disorder no matter where they walk. In these we see people that cannot stand any bad news, and most always removed the bearer of such, we fast learn never bring such people bad news. Unfortunately in government we find a radical fear distrusting any internal change, it matters not that the change has to be made there will always be a portion of the electorate who will shun a new course always! Democracy is susceptible to an energy greed found in all governments, a substance that can lead even the most dedicated individual or group into a trap it causes some of them to suffer within its powerful grasp, to make any attempt to withdraw from its addiction the addicted become uncaring pushers of its presence and in doing so they envelope the electorate to its greed and the situation we all fear. We parade selected scapegoats in front of the voters, some we pick are rich, some known participants in the rampant greed, lets not forget the ones who get careless and end up behind bars, or this or that leader (no matter if they have managed to rise above the greed and corruption), they are all part and partial to democracy. At one time or the other we experience a top-heavy bureaucracy stuffed with bureaucrats who play the game of greed once we reach this situation the path to removing this un-balance becomes untouchable even if there might come a time when the electorate is successful in toppling the leader, those still in the halls of Congress will move heaven and earth to regain their pillar of greed heaven and earth. Once back in power, they will steal from the aged, from the retired, in fact from anyone to achieve their sought after greed they create a situation where most are dissatisfied, hopelessly in debt, physically and mentally worn to a frazzle, and desperate to return to the calm and false sense of well-being they enjoyed under a greedy and corrupt leadership they having once more gained their supreme position, most always supported by a diversionary stance that points away from their tactics that are stealing from the people they govern. They create copious stacks of laws, laws they say are to protect you these laws are just but another distraction from what is really going on behind the curtain as some say bullring tactics that work and please many of us. The wave of the pretty cape, as you know, confuses the bull they charge and find no matador, and action that eventually dulls the bull, just as the actions of the leadership dulls the electorate, and fewer and fewer people use their vote intelligently the

next time around they now have achieved their goal, an apathetic electorate. To maintain this crowd they feed them, amuse them and above all make them feel guilty if the crowd asks for solutions, arent they giving you solutions? If a boat-rocker steps to the bully-pulpit, it might be wise to let him speak for a bit, to remove him ignore him, build brick walls around him, do everything in your power to push him aside, created hunger in those that depend on him or her to bring about change it works why change? Religion now there is a concept that has been around since man first gazed at those tiny pin pricks of light in the night canopy first thinking the sky had holes in it think of what he must have thought than imagine as time moved forward that our gods have matured as we have matured it is tough for to say we became more civilized, as our path towards becoming civilized is littered with the remains of those who did not agree with another more powerful civilized human. As an incomplete society we have accumulated skills as we progressed, we marvel at our sophisticated skills that allow some of us to destroy others of Gods creation although between battles of control we might stop and praise the Lord in his or her wisdom detailing his or her creation. Were strange, no doubt about it. Our teachers sometimes stress-out trying to remove our stupidity, writing frantically on a blank chalk board that believing you knew something was a sure path towards blinding yourself, maintain it was not aging that slowly pushed the brake pedal stopping your ability to learn, but the thought that you knew all there was to know, so you shut the doors to learning sad! I have been fortunate, whereas when my children were born, I perceived that my problems were more important than theirs, my drive to succeed out weighted theirs to live, and because of this selfish situation I left my family and drove blindly down the road, and in doing so missed the greatest experience a person can have, watching and participating in a childs view of the world around them. Three years ago I met my wifes nephew, a young child who had not mastered the task of walking, a young man who was just beginning to understand the wishes of his parents, who spoke Lebanese. He and I were in close contact for three-months the first time. The 2nd time we became fast friends, and lo and behold he spoke my language, not perfect mind you, yet neither do I and to top it all off I dont understand his, but now we could talk.

The third time we came together, after he, his new brother and his mom flew in from Beirut to Morocco, he sat on my lap I asked him how he was (in English) and without batting an eye (after being apart for some 4-months) he answered fine. As the conversation continued he didnt stutter, stopping from time-totime to reply in Lebanese to his grandmother or his maternal uncle. I sat there in awe of this three-year-old, here was a young-person who had mastered two languages with minimal instruction all with periods of time with gaps, where he had conversed with his Native American/Swedish uncle in English. Spending time with him I watched his young-mind suck up information like a sponge, his eyes flashing, and his brain working with it, his ability to decipher stuff is amazing, he knows the difference between right and wrong, yet it is educational to watch him press the envelope of wrong as he now runs through life. Does he have fears, you bet, unfortunately most being used to bring him back in line, but then again this is what parents are all about. In my culture there was a practice that the first born male of a family was, soon after he was weaned, to be shipped off this his uncle for his education and the learning of family values I can understand this now. It might be that Im disappointed in what transpired when my children were young, or maybe it is because Im older, but for whatever reason I feel a loving attraction for this young man who has adapted to my mannerisms and language after all Im his uncle and he my nephew. Here we find a person born of two different parents, each tied to a different religion (seems religion has become important in the conversations of the world, thereby I mention it), one a raised Christian, the other a raised Islamic which according to some put him at a disadvantage, to me not so it puts him in a position found by most half-breeds around the world, which by my last estimation is just about all of us. Even though some think of us as imperfect stones, remember that some precious stones are identified by their impurities a secret fingerprint if you must, whereas forever and ever they are known by their defects. In other words their glittering surface tells you little whereas you have to peer deep inside them to establish their value, such is the value of this young man I call my nephew. History is like the imperfect stone, its surface being largely worthless being composed by prejudiced members of our society mainly to please one powerful

group or another, it isnt until we peel back the events surrounding a time that we learn the facts behind the era. Even in peeling back the pages of time we see that history focuses on confrontations, example, what history touches on the woman in the rice paddy guiding her water buffalo? No, it more than likely focuses on her husband who off somewhere shield in one hand with a sword in the other doing his level best to kill another husband whose wife is home raising the kids. Consequently it is in the woman that we find the true image of human persistence and the survival of humanity, not some conscript off fighting a battle started by some old codger who desired power. In the study of history it is a rare class or individual that really understands the rise of Hitler and why he achieved the position of power that he did he was the primary expert of his time in practicing diversion he was a master. None of his power would have got a foothold if the victors of World War I had treated Germany a little different then they did denying the population of Germany a satisfactory recovery from the actions hoisted on them by a few power hungry men who wanted complete control. As the events of our past are interpreted today some of us realize that they change, bringing us to the fact that our viewpoints change daily. Causing some to change their moral perspective, but then again that is what history is all about sort of like our gods must mature as our society does. Never, I repeat Never follow a leader without asking your own questions, in this we find the learning of our younger generation where we push this moral conditioning to such a high level without a good grasp on the morality of ourselves we tend to wander from this event to another turning a blind eye to things that dont serve our self-interest. Think of where weve been (not you and I but our humanity), isnt it a fact that were better because of the little things, such as the first manipulation of a stick, or our advancement to a fire-sharpened spear to kill our meat, a shelter embraced by fire to keep away the cold, a stone cellar to store our winter food, a swift sailing vessel, the giant ocean liner, and the ship being designed to carry us to the stars, granted we have some distance to go, that is if we can survive our petty differences on how we perceive we should address the God of our man-made religions.

Some of us have learned over the past decade that it useless to walk into a conflict driven by fanatics, unless you can defuse them along with this we are learning it is hopeless to oppose another religion unless the proofs (miracles) of one is greater than the other, if not you are only adding fuel to the fire of the god-inspired religion of the fanatics. Science is stated as being manmade, whereas it is futile to say that religion is also, there is too much history, verbal and written that will disagree with the concept of manmade. I have butted my head against this wall too many times, laying stupid questions on the table of debate asking who it was that actually wrote (for instance) the Old Testament, God or Moses? I dont get shouted out of the room, but I do get accused of not believing in God which I do believe in a supreme creator, now whether God is a he or a she is another one of my questions, where Im learning that if it indeed was a female we wouldnt be in the mess were in todaywhere she in all likelihood would have put borders on our free will. I believe that religion must be addressed as a source of energy, an energy that can be directed for the worshippers purposes, although the energy only consists of what experiences of the person or persons it impacts thereby we arrive at the concept of free will. To me questions about religion only create more questions, others tell me there is no need to question the boundaries of religion in fact they say there are no boundaries, faith is the answer and thats that. Every civilization carries its own boatload of myths, myths that go against our reality during these days the English have Arthur and his Round Table, a place where it rained only at night phew! talk about weather control, my upbringing in SE Alaska had me sitting around a campfire absorbing the myths of the flood mountains and the horrible half-man half beast that took life at random, in the lower-48 he or his kind are referred to as Sasquatch. Religions are not different, whereas the two largest organized religions in the world tell us of the man who walked from the foothills of Turkey, running from the worship of idols after his father went on to his own reward (his father was a maker of Idols). Wound in and around his life we find a history full of stories of his fight against multiple Gods, his goal to convert the world to acknowledge the worship of one God, his. The Hebrew society was built upon the tale of this man and his wife Sari, a wife of extreme beauty, with a quick and sharp mind who it is said Abraham deferred to

reaffirm his decisions he spun three (recorded) un-truths during his life, two of them about his status of marriage to his half-sister, but keep in mind that according to history he was a wealthy man, who accumulated acres and acres of land, mountains of gold and friends far and widemyth? We have the writings of a few Jews and the writing of a couple of secretaries of Mohammed the creator of the Islamic faith, that say he walked the ancient Middle East creating situations from Turkey to Egypt. Whether we realize it our not were witnessing a passing phase in our humanity, there are important events taking place that some of us will never notice or worse yet deny that they are taking place. Change will happen, some because of those marching in step sharing common prejudices, others brought about by the assemblage of small groups who believe (with good cause) that the ones in the streets are shouting their displeasure will be ignored as a crowd that has no real voice, yet it was a crowd such as this that turned the nations feelings about the Vietnam War yet, it was the leaders that emerged from the 60s who carried their voice forward. How many leaders have walked out of the crowds today walking their common cause message to the front of the pack? There are more and more of the electorate that know to create change you search and identify leverage points and use them, avoid blind alleys, and by all means understand that leverage points are no longer all locate in high offices or positions. They can be found in the midst of economic or communications centers, today a critical center being the Internetthe message must be clear and understandable to all that see or read it. Understand the delaying game that the opposition will use, it isnt enough to study it once and drop it into the nearest round file, realize that it is weak point in their strategy, post it over and over again their tactics over the past four years is criminal, as it defeats the promise of democracy, bringing down an operating government with a goal of personal gain they did this only to destroy the chances of the reelection of a man who won the last election fair and square voted in my the majority of the countries citizensdefeating the unfeeling corporations sucking off the pocket books of the citizens of the country the profess to love and adore. Some of us who read and study (some shun the word analyze, as the text is to be taken on faith), we see that Holy Accidents are there and noted as a teaching element, telling the student to be strong, gather in the many

experiences and judge them by all means based on your faith, yet riding behind each lesson is the one that shouts, be ready for change, where as we know from our experience that if the Universe exploits one thing change coupled with more than a bit of chaos. There is an old yet wise saying, when you think to take determination of your fate into your own hands, walk gently as this is when you can be crushed if you allow for no surprises when you create keep in mind that there are always forces outside of your control working just as hard as you. While youre at it remember the primary rule of a true Democracy, make no laws restricting juries, they are stupid. Yet at times we marvel at how stupid humans can be when acting in small, self serving groups. Some believe that it is rule of nature that says its almost impossible for self serving groups to act enlightened, whereas the performance of a jury tickles the edges of intelligence, at times. They seek and deliver decisions that mix and mingle with the will of the crowd, no matter the evidence or lack of that is thrown on the table in front of them, they seek the approval of the masses more so than the politicians residing above them. When a subject becomes meshed with political desires, the forces of the existing government moves to the forefront, this normally gives birth to a fractional truth such as the belief that we exist within a democracy that actually separates church from state. As long as our memories contain that long ago gene of the lonely man sitting under the blanket of night peering up at the tiny points of light above him, church (or religion) will remain a constant element in our lives. These sacred (and they are that) juries most made of those with an innocence of a young child, being that they are blessed with inexperience, a sidebar that is often confused with ignorance lawyers work both side of the field when choosing their audience, a well know fact, whereas a defender would like to have members of the jury made up of an ilk similar to the person they are defending, and the prosecutor wants jurors who may have been harmed by the likes of the defendant. None are picked for their presumed intelligence, but either by their inexperience of by their experience, pure and simple. The Supreme Court is not a jury, but a selection of judges whose goal being to establish the rule of law as prescribed within the nations constitution, as they read it. Normally they vote on party lines with very few exceptions.

Through all of the preceding I have attempted to examine and present my view on history and its making wound in between the words I tried to define the struggles of America as it tries to find its way. Over the past decade weve been attacked, being rushed into two wars, and is now walking through its worst financial collapse in 80 years. At its political edges we find the Tea Party, the Occupy Movement and somewhere in between a citizenship with a consistent unemployment rate, paychecks that hardly pay the bills, and homes that have market value a fraction of their former value the electorate how faced with a decision on how they want to pull themselves government (with its detractors), or private enterprise (also with its detractors) both options having their pros and cons. Sitting in the middle of all this we see two political parties, whereas if the electorate refuses to rally behind one or the other, bouncing between both, the future will be gridlocked with no firm direction, a venomous action if any at all. The citizens are more than ever locked into their insecurity, searching for a positive direction, wanting to comprehend their status who are we, who do we want to be, and where are we going? Four years ago it appeared the electorate picked a man that promised them hope and change, they ran to the polls inspired by his words little did they realize that he alone could not manifest that change all those who voted for him desired. Albeit he had ignited a frenzy of difference the nation seemed to have forgot we exist under a banner of Democracy, and not a dictatorship, a democracy that needed all three branches of its government to function as one. Right from the day of his inauguration the opposition dropped from the cycle of good government they didnt get their way, so they made a conscious decision that neither would the people they represented get theirs. Right from the start of these last few years our form of government took a back seat to the wishes of the opposition, they wanted revenge and damn the cost to the citizenship. Their revenge is proudly displayed by them, unemployment above 8% for the past 42 months, with African-American rate topping 14%, the backbone of America it farmers see their net worth plunging, homes have lost their value some areas dropping over 33%, albeit new homes are on the upswing not at

any rate to brag about the high and mighty religious (when they need it) right have won the day they have through their actions convinced the electorate that America is heading down the wrong track. The right ignores the fact that the global economy is failing, just as they ignore the reality of the information age the corporations that packed up their machinery and laid off 1000s of workers in America in their shifting of production off-shore are bemoaning the fact that the cheap labor markets are being off-set by the rising cost of this very same cheap labor market along with the increasing cost of transportation, and for some odd reason they just cant understand that the class of people they laid off, whose homes have lost value and their disposable income shrinking are no longer being able to boost the economy by purchasing more stuff. In reality there are a great many consumers who are getting fed up with stuff labeled made in China little note here, in Europe the same is true, even here in Morocco poor as it may seem the consumer is shying away from goods made in China the compliant, although they may be a little cheaper the quality is far less than what they are used to. The politicians on the right are trying desperately to catch up with the population of the United States turning inward, away from wars and the threat of terror that they so blatantly wave turning the GWB years. Troops are headed back home, Osama bin Laden is no more, and I bet that bet you could count on one hand the number of people that noticed that Mitt Romney this summer called Iran the nations top security priority and did NOT mention the so-called global war on terror that once dominated America politics the tide has turned. The citizen is war weary and broke if not exactly broke so far in debt they really dont give a damn. We have suffered through a decade of wars that were not paid for, we have seen and read reports that companies like the Halliburton have ripped off the American Taxpayer for billions, and the public who bought and paid for their part of the social system that would provide for part of their security when they aged are now in fear of loosing what they paid for, they have sat in front of the evening news programs watching their government bail out the very entities that pulled the plug from a system that had survived for centuries being bailed out with their money for the misdeeds they had created in the name of huge

profits they gambled with investors money and lost and the investors in the name of the American taxpayer coughed up some money and the footloose and fancy free banksters paid out hefty bonus and went to a party I Las Vegas and this was Obamas doing the right would like to have you believe that. The Republicans point to our $16 trillion national debt (with glee I might add), what the idiots would really like you to believe is that because of the garden in back of the White House (which the far religious right points to is that is not the Black House) as the primary reason were in debt, they have slammed the door on a jobs bill that mimicked the jobs bill of FDR, pounded their fist on their bully-pulpit screaming for more tax cuts for the 1%, bellowing that familiar old mantra that trickle-down-economics is the final and best solution it hasnt worked for the last two decades (eight of those years under the cheerleader from Texas), and now they want you to suck up to the same-old, same-old as the way out of our economic doldrums. Now let me get this straight, the opposition to President Obama tells us that Obama has failed miserably in getting a hold on our National Debt, the implication being as a lawyer he cant add/divide/subtract/ or multiply. They state that Mitts experience as businessman will jerk America out of its economic doldrums and put a chicken in every pot claiming not only that he can perform subspace mathematics, but will create millions of jobs, whereas in one particular area, just a million jobs the Keystone XL pipeline the facts, even TransCanada only claims 6,000 jobs. Now according the classes I attended back when, the difference between a million and 6,000 is pretty significant not to Mitt and his gang, its a clear shot at a possibility and you want this guy sitting at a cabinet meeting who doesnt know the difference between 1,000,000 and 6,000 not me!
