Monday (10/9) 13:15- 14:30 CCC SAT Practice Test: Writing CCC Members only: Students will take simulate the real SAT, concentrating on either critical reading or writing sections. Attending both a critical reading and writing section count as a CCC activity. Tuesday (11/9) 11:00-13:00 Quiet Time The coordinator needs preparation time for upcoming events, so please do not enter the American Corner or check out items unless you rarely come to Sousse.

14:30-16:00 CCC Office Hours This time is set aside for CCC students who want the AC Coordinator to review academic materials or answer questions about the college admissions process. 17:30- 18:15 CCC General Meeting (Repeat) This is the same CCC meeting that was held last Wednesday, for those who missed it. 18:30- 19:00 Soliya Honors Program Interest Meeting (Repeat) All of those interested in participating in the Soliya Honors Program must come to this meeting if you did not come on Friday. Acceptance will be based on maturity and English excellence.

13:00-14:00 Conversation Hour Practice your American English in a relaxed setting with your friends at the American Corner.

15:00-16:00 CCC SAT Correction Session (required) If you took yesterdays Writing Practice SAT, you must come in to edit it with the AC Coordinator and your peers. 16:00- 17:30 CCC Office Hours This time is set aside for CCC students who want the AC Coordinator to review academic materials or answer questions about the college admissions process.

Wednesday (12/9) 12:30-13:30 Competitive Debate Team Interest Meeting Come if you are a high school or university student interested in competitive debate. Students will engage in tournaments against other American Corners, and some will qualify to compete in Doha, Qatar at a Model United Nations Conference hosted by Georgetown University. If you liked the summers debate practices, come to this. 13:45-15:15 CCC SAT Practice Test: Critical Reading CCC Members only: Students will take simulate the real SAT, concentrating on either critical reading or writing sections. Attending both a critical reading and writing section count as a CCC activity. 16:00- 17:00 CCC SAT Correction Session (required) If you took todays Critical Reading Practice SAT, you must come in to edit it with the AC Coordinator and your peers. 17:30-18:30 Conversation Hour: Listening Edition This is longer than a regular conversation hour to allow for a longer listening passage for participants to understand and critically analyze. Topics will range from story narrations, to American news talk shows, to TEDtalks. Suggestions are always welcome!

Special Notes on the American Corner Calendar: The American Corner Academic Calendar begins this week. The American Corner will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays to accommodate for members school schedules. We will also be open later, opening at 1pm instead of 11am next Wednesday, and staying open until 9pm. The AC Coordinator is eager to hear from you: come talk to Dania with your questions, project ideas, conversation topics, and other suggestions. We are also excited to network with local community centers, mosques, and schools, so come by to say hello during our opening hours.

Sunday (16/9) 13:00- 14:00 Tunisicorps Information Session Tunisicorps is a youth leadership incubator to promote change, growth, and diversity in your schools and wider community. This is the much anticipated club on making clubs. 14:30- 16:30 Sunday Movie Matinee The American Corner Coordinator will bring popcorn and drinks as we relax on the new couches with a quality American film. This weeks film will be Toy Story. All ages are encouraged to attend!
