Tiny Tots Tuesdays 3:30pm to 4:15pm Junior Wimbledons Tuesdays 4:15pm To 5 pm Top Spinners Saturdays 8:00 to 8:45a.m. Grand Slammers Saturdays 8:45 to 9:15a.m.
Description
Aged approx. 4 to 5 years. The Tiny-Tots are in small groups of 4 to 6 students for each coach. Ideal for fun and development. There are 3 blocks of 7 lessons over the summer and a Tiny Tot can join all or start at any time. Aged 6 to 8. The Wimbledons will be in small groups of 4 to 6 for each coach, and will graded for skill. Complete beginners are welcome (and in all age groups). Like the Tiny Tots there are 3 blocks of 7 lessons over the summer. Mostly 9 and 10yrs. Coached in small groups of 4 to 6 which encourages participation and development. There are 16 Saturday sessions over the summer (so most Saturdays) Mostly 11 years and over. Coached in small groups of 4 to 6 which encourages participation and development. There are 16 Saturday sessions over the summer (so most Saturdays). Some Top spinners and Grand Slammers will migrate into Interclub teams. Junior Interclub Avonhead has many teams playing inter-club competitions, mostly on Saturday morning. The coach offers each team (of about 4 or 5) preparation, support and 14 sessions (of 45mins) of specialist coaching, at an allocated time during the week. The coach manages the teams, with the assistance and guidance of the Club Junior Administrator. Student (with proof) Usually, Tertiary students. No coaching programme Notes [1] Members can use the courts at other approved times [2] Coaching is a separate operation from the Club. The coach may vary timetables or fees as is appropriate. [3] Parental assistance is always welcome and is vital to the smooth, low cost running of Junior play.
